There's so much to recommend, to much to go through after viewing, but the closing scene is a good example, when Moira thanks Johnny for her surprise party, but "don't ever do it again!" And Johnny says that the surprise was on him, because the town cleaned up pretty well.

Then Mayor Roland and Jocelyn dance by, both of his hands clutching her buttocks, and a besotted expression on his face. He sees them looking at him and issues a defensive "What?" Then Moira gets inspired and slides one of her hands down to Johnny's butt.

Schitt's Creek is growing on the Roses, perhaps more than they would care to recognize.

It's Moira's birthday and Johnny decides to throw a surprise party for her. To pull this off, he has to find a way to get her dressed up for a party which she is to know nothing about. Johnny decides to get the mayor involved and the scene where he tries to explain to Roland his role in this is hilarious. A fund raiser is the method used and the ball gets rolling. Terrific episode.
