Chad Michael Collins is set to recur on this coming season of “NCIS: New Orleans.” The actor will play a Navy fighter pilot on the sophomore effort of the CBS procedural. Collins will first appear in the episode “Kissed by the Sun” in October, playing opposite series leads Scott Bakula, Zoe McLellan, and Lucas Black. Collins recently wrapped the franchise lead role for Sony’s forthcoming film “Sniper: Kill Shot.” He also starred in “Sniper: Legacy” with Tom Berenger and Dennis Haysbert last fall, and originated the Sgt. Brandon Beckett role in 2011’s “Sniper: Reloaded” with Billy Zane. Also...

Arnold Schwarzenegger is missing from the now-shooting Kindergarten Cop sequel. So Dolph Lundgren has stepped in...
A few months back, we reported on a possible sequel to the Arnold Schwarzenegger comedy, Kindergarten Cop. The original movie saw Arnie reunite with Twins director Ivan Reitman, and we looked back at it in alarming detail right here.
Now, a sequel has become production, although in a surprise to virtually nobody, it won't be seeing the inside of a cinema. Instead, this is a straight to DVD/Blu-ray/VOD affair, that's being directed by Don Michael Paul. He's the man who also helmed previously sequels Sniper: Legacy, Jarhead 2 and Tremors 5.
Arnold Schwarzenegger won't be back for this one, and instead, Dolph Lundgren is stepping into his shoes. Ivan Drago as a teacher? That could work.
David H Streinberg, who co-wrote American Pie 2, has put together the script for this one. And it'll...

Apparently someone over Universal felt that there's demand for a remake of Arnold Schwarzenegger.s 1990 comedy, Kindergarten Cop. As astounding or unsurprising at it sounds, the project is apparently in the works. However, there will reportedly be some key changes to the cast dynamic in the new project. According to a report from Showbiz 411, the 1440 division of Universal Studios is looking to revisit the Ivan Reitman-directed classic comedy in which a badass cop takes an undercover assignment overseeing an unruly array of pre-grade-school progenies. However, this time around, the hilariously awkward plot points will carry on with a non-Schwarzenegger leading man, said to be aided by an Indian sidekick named Sanjit. The film will be directed by Don Michael Paul, a regular helmer of straight-to-dvd sequels such as Sniper: Legacy, Jarhead 2: Field of Fire, and the upcoming Tremors 5: Bloodline. Interestingly enough, the report also implies that the project,...

One of Universal's Dtv film producers, 1440 Entertainment, is looking into a remake of the Arnold Schwarzenegger comedy "Kindergarten Cop".
The new film follows a "leading man type" with an Indian sidekick named Sanjit. The pair are on the trail of a missing flash drive from the Federal Witness protection program which somehow wound up in a kindergarten class.
Chuck in Albanian goons and a beautiful teacher/love interest and you have the film which Don Michael Paul ("Jarhead 2: Field Of Fire," "Sniper: Legacy") helms from a script by David H. Steinberg ("American Pie 2"). There's also talk of this being a potential TV series rather than just a film.

Samara now has one more reason to emerge from her well. Another lead role has been cast for Rings, the sequel to the 2002 remake, The Ring, adding one more potential victim of the cursed tape to the film's ranks.
Deadline reports that Alex Roe (The 5th Wave, Sniper: Legacy) has been cast as the male lead opposite Matilda Lutz in director F. Javier Gutiérrez's Rings. Roe will play "the boyfriend to Lutz’s character", who "becomes distant from her after watching the tape."
Rings, scheduled to come out in 3D, will explore the origin story of Samara. At this time, it's unclear how much of the story will incorporate the insights gained about Samara's past in The Ring and The Ring Two, and with the unveiling of Roe's character description, it sounds like the cursed tape will already be in existence at some point in the film, so perhaps...

Well it’s that time of year again – the one where websites across the globe churn out Top 10 list after top ten list. So why should we be any different?! Yet whilst we may be following the predictable end of year lists, I can guarantee that my list is anything but predictable, featuring films from across the globe: including the Us, Canada, Italy, Australia, New Zealand and even good old Blighty!
This year more than ever there has been film after film that knocked it out of the park for me – which is why my Top 10 list has Two sections: the Top 10 and then the pick of 35(!) more brilliant movies (I would have loved this list to be a Top 45, honestly). So what’s my criteria? Well it has to be a movie I’ve seen this year, one that was released this year, i.e. making its UK debut,...

Shocking as it may seem given the amount of horror flicks I review here on Nerdly, I’m not just a horror fan. My movie-loving passion is in fact split between three genres: horror, teen comedies and action movies. As much as I can appreciate low-budget horror flicks I can also appreciate low-budget action movies – which, at least from major studios, are few and far between these days. Which is one of the reasons I was excited to check out Sniper: Legacy.
The other reason? Well, as a teenager I used to love Impact Magazine. It really was my film bible, I’d religiously pick up each and every issue from the newsagents near where I used to catch the bus to college; in...

Chef One of the best films of 2014 so far and a movie that, while I wish you had seen it in theaters (that is if you didn't), will play perfectly at home. I really hope all of you get a chance to check out Jon Favreau's Chef, not because it's Amazing, but because it's just a good, sweet, funny film. Here's my review if you're interested.
Transformers: Age of Extinction Now if you haven't seen Transformers: Age of Extinction, woe be to those of you that watch it for the first time at home. This is a film meant to be seen on a giant screen as it pummels you into submission. At home I just don't see the point. Here's my theatrical review and then an article I wrote examining Michael Bay and the movie if you're interested.

Somewhere in the executive offices over at Universal, someone said something along these lines: "You know what property we really need to maximize? 'Jarhead.' " And so they did just that, deciding to make a follow-up to the 2005 movie, that isn't a sequel, so much as a movie "inspired" by the Sam Mendes film. And though this trailer dropped a while ago, it's just caught our attention now and we can't be the only ones to bear witness to this. Directed by Don Michael Paul ("Sniper: Legacy," "Lake Placid: The Final Chapter") and starring Josh Kelly, Cole Hauser, Bookeem Woodbine, Esai Morales, Stephen Lang and a bunch of other people, this one combines cheap locations and alt-rawk rhythmz for one testosterone-fueled experience. Here's the synopsis: Battle-scarred and disillusioned by the war, Corporal Chris Merriman is put in charge of a unit whose next mission is to resupply a remote outpost on the edge of.
