Some orchestra celebrate Betty's 35 year in the orchestra by having a drunken bash. Hailey gets hammered. She tells things she should not have. Meanwhile there is a crazy negotiations session. It would appear that there is little love loss between the two sides. Also, the reality show guy returns, having absconded with the hard drive from the show. Of course, there is a silver lining because, after all, it is a reality show. The episode finishes with a group of music directors being dressed to be scanned for a video game. The great humor is in what happens when these guys get together. Thomas gets more sensitive about his magnum opus.

I don't normally write reviews for individual episodes but I had to give props the the sound effects guys on this one. Maestro gets dizzy while acting for the VR/blue screen/covered in balls/CGI thing and the sound changes, almost imperceptibly, to a droning, echo-y, slightly ringing or whistling, and washed-out quality. Then recovers again. I had to rewind it to make sure it wasn't my ears ringing. Great work, sound-effect-guys who will probably never see this review. Will anyone see this review? I mean, honestly, how many people read individual episode reviews for any series?
