Becoming the Intruder: An Interview with Michael Dattore (2017)

Actor Michael Dattore (aka Michael Gaunt) is the subject of this eighteen-minute documentary that has the actor talking about his early career as well as working on Zebody Colt's THE INTRUSION. That 1975 film was one of those rape fantasies where he plays an attacker who ties up a woman and then repeatedly rapes her. The actor starts off talking about how he got into acting and how the lack of roles caused him to go to school. He then gets into talking about this movie as well as its production. For the most part this here is an entertaining featurette but at the same time I wish the actor had discussed the director a tad bit more. With that said, if you're a fan of this film or just want to learn a few things about it then this featurette is well worth watching. There's obviously nothing ground-breaking here but it's a fine short that fans should enjoy.
