  • Love this final extended episode... shows the tru drama and severity off three human beings trying to fight and survive to live a better life Well done Ben stiller this is a capsule into a period of time where other wise it would have gone un remembered or appreciated.

Well I finally made it to the finale, three years after I watched Part 6. That is how riveting I found Escape at Dannemora.

It is a feature length conclusion of a series I already thought was too padded. Maybe I will manage to stay awake all the way through.

The action intercuts Richard Matt and David Sweat on the run. They are on the way to Canada but Matt is slowing Sweat down.

Outside the prison, Matt is not up to it. Always moaning and complaining about getting betrayed by Tilly Mitchell.

Whereas Tilly and Lyle Mitchell bring stupidity to a new level. He wants Tilly to tell the cops that she has a painting by Matt, so the cops can have his fingerprints. Only Tilly tells him that the cops already have his fingerprints.

Meanwhile Tilly keeps digging herself in the hole by confessing to the cops. She could had been fine if she stayed quiet. As New York Governor Cuomo discovered, security was lax in the prison.

The only thing of note was Michael Imperioli was good as Governor Cuomo.
