  • Depnding on how much you are able to suspend your disbelief ... and are willing to accept my pun in the summary headline ... you can have fun with this movie for sure. It is not a great movie by a long shot. But it a decent one - but silly as can be.

It takes superhero movies (and agent/thriller/spy movies too) and makes fun of them. Be it the bad guys, the hero itself or even the obligatory countdown the hero has to stop. So many things - depending on your sense of humor, you'll find those funnier or more annoying than others ... a decent movie in my book, but I am known to be too soft on movies, so there's that to consider I reckon too.
  • Some good jokes, with both Edouard Baer and Thomas N'Gijol. But the film seems unfinished.

I really wanted to enjoy this because I like Thomas N'Gijol on stage, but... it seems to lack some work to make a real movie. A few (rapid) smiles but it definitively misses the point. I hope the next one will be better.
  • Creating a black superhero in the 70s, with a political point of view, was a very nice idea. Unfortunately, nothing goes right in this movie. Nothing is funny, the acting is very poor with almost all actors, direction is very bad and it is full of not funny vulgar jokes... Too bad because Thomas N'Gijol is usually very good .. I don't understand how they have made such an unfinished movie.
  • I was genuinely hoping for a cool funny movie after seeing the trailer, but it has turned out to be a complete flop. Out of all the jokes (or should I call them attemps at being jokes) only about three were funny. Oh and the music sucks, seriously, just turn down the volume when the music is played, you'll do yourself a favour.

Fast paced, funny, very entertaining! If you want to laugh at stupid jokes and absurd situations, you have to watch this movie. It even has some unexpcted plot twists. The soundtrack is nice too!
  • Comic film around the first African and French superhero that features many clichés and a parody of the hero's journey... In the 70s, an aimless young man visits his homeland to see his grandfather, an expert in martial arts, and discovers the your superhero destiny...

A caricatured nonsense about superheroes, coincidentally I'm binge-watching all the Marvel movies in chronological order, pause to watch the ones that are expiring on Netflix... Regular, funny at times, protagonist alone is already fun, addresses social issues and interesting and important regions of violence in Africa, as well as gangs, mafia, violence, and drug use, very good social critique...
