Nothing explodes. No one gets shot. There are no superheroes or supervillains. But if you enjoy watching relationships between amazing characters with wonderful chemistry this is a truly fine series. The cast is terrific, from in laws to the most minor of characters. The direction and pacing is outstanding, and season two even ended in a most effective way. I've seen a lot of series. This ranks at the top of my list.

qui_j9 May 2020This is a modern Scandinavian Sitcom that does have the potential to eventually run of out steam and ideas. Much of the humor is local and targeted towards specific countries and this might minimize its global appeal. Some of the characters are quirky, "Portlandia" types that make it interesting, others could easily be cut! Overall, it's an OK watch if you understand and like Scandinavian humor. If not, it will not translate well!
