Did I just watch a tv show or a movie! It was that good! Stepped it up on this one. Action from beginning till the end.
  • A great and incredibly suspenseful addition to this great series! After last week's Chimney centered episode I was eager to get back to the Maddie storyline. This episode didn't disappoint. Jennifer Love Hewitt delivers a brilliant performance! As do the entire cast. And the writing, action, and plot are all edge-of-your-seat intense! If you're not watching this series you need to start! It is a must watch and the only reason to continue watching the FOX network.

This episode was so good, but heartbreaking at the same time. The episode is about domestic violence and the love between siblings and how to fight like hell and never stop if you're being hunted or threatened.
  • Every film I watch where a woman fights a man I feel like she's not giving it her all, she doesn't kick them in the face/scratch them for example. But in this I really felt like I was watching someone fight for their life (everything I was screaming at the TV she did!). Really brilliant episode. One of my faves so far for sure!

This was a terrific episode. Brilliant acting from all. Brave of them to tackle domestic abuse and also showing that it is not just poor, ill-educated people that suffer from it. It happens in the highest strata of society. Absolutely excellent.
  • Wow, this episode was excellent! I loved the story with Maddie trying to run away from Doug after she kidnapped her. The Emotion and action displayed in this episode was great. Truly an amazing 9-1-1 episode.
  • They finally showed what Maddie went through her struggles and her abusive psycho husband.

IT WAS REALLY INTENSE and SATISFYING Definitely in top 10 best episodes!

This storyline was amazing and it is one of the best, if not THE best of the series. I wish I could get the feeling of watching it for the first time again.

I was filled with worry for Maddie and was kept on my toes the entire time and i loved it. The acting was great and I just really loved everything about it. Wish all the episodes was done this well ~

And a good and different storyline for the Maddie character. True this was done a lot, in several movies and TV shows before. But the series did in the best way possible. It was as if Jennifer Love Hewitt, was back to her scream queen days. And I loved it. Also I find it funny that the actor playing her abusing ex husband, used to be her « ex » husband, and big love interest, in her previous show...
  • JLH goes way over the top with her emotions. At times it is so distracting to watch because she goes from a normal face to devastation in an instant. The story line was very good, but her acting really set this episode back.

There is no way that a trained, awesome person like Maddie would let someone get killed like that. Are you kidding me?! So she just stood there while someone was trying to help her and didn't put her training into it? I am so sad for the writing because none of you thought about the gas station individual that was trying to do the right thing. All she needed to do was what she has been taught but no you had to get an innocent civilian killed. Good for you Maddie and good for everyone else except for the gas station attendant that most likely left a family behind. Selfish selfish selfish.
