First of all, if you are not OK with low-budget road-movies, then do not watch this, as the BAD will outweigh the GOOD.

Now, if you like a calmer movie mostly driven by character-interplay and dialogue, then this can be OK, albeit at 110% playback speed. Even for Non-Native speakers, so Natives my prefer 120% acceleration.

The movie delivers. Some deceptions (plot twists) were filmed very well and there was no gross inconsistency. Some scenes COULD have been better, but that is true for most movies.

What I really like about the female predator aka strong female character sermon herein: She risks her life for her choices and neglects, no auto-immune (gamers call it god-mode) BS.

So, while no masterpiece, it IS a solid urban crime movie with a lot of nightly driving. 'Could happen to the best of us!´ ;-)

A solid 7.5, not quite an 8, due to the stupid moves by both driver and passenger. They must not have watched as much true crime as I have. This movie proves once again that you don't have to spend millions to engage an audience. It was a wild ride from the beginning, revealing just enough to keep you interested at every turn. It had me guessing to the very end. Good performances, taut direction, good use of night photography. I knew we were in Florida, for sure, could almost smell it! I liked this film a lot and would recommend to anyone who wants to just strap in and let someone else take the wheel for the next 90 minutes or so.
  • This movie is one of the worst movies I've seen in a long time. If you like Lifetime TV trash movies, you will love this one. The plot is so improbable and laughable, I almost feel embarrassed for whoever made this. The fact that people are giving this a ten proves either reviews can be bought or these people have horrible taste in movies. The so-called twist is so predictable, it's painful. Don't even waste your time. Go watch something else. Anything else. Movies like this are the reason that IMDB should have never have gotten rid of the comment section. They would have warned you about this.

    Warning: Spoilers
I forgot how much I hated this main character. There is absolutely zero character development for you to feel any sort of empathy towards her. There is a half assed story they allude to in the middle of the movie related to the "twist" but honestly, it sucks. It doesn't make me feel for the woman, it makes me sick of her more. She seems like a manipulative self centered psycho masquerading as some victim. Honestly you're better off watching any other movie.

Ugh skip this movie unless you enjoy obvious plot holes, "twists" that can be seen a mile away, and a completely improbable ending. Cops apparently do not have dashcams in this universe.

I at least gotta admit that.

I had originally been writing a review AS I was watching this because the lead woman was driving me insane. Her decision making was absolutely horrible. At every single turn she appeared to make the wrong decision. I had tons typed out I had to scrap it all.

But it was all some ruse to help her kill her ex lover? Honestly, it still feels poorly done because none of that makes any sense.

How did she plan that? Was she just going to pick up riders forever until HOPEFULLY one that was shady came along? I mean how frigging convenient that the guy in her car was a criminal who was laying a gun on the seat the moment of the accident. That is ridiculous. Oh and not only that but what would the odds be that the man would go to where she could run him over hence the middle of the road.... You'd have better luck finding a four leaf clover on the same day you spot a double rainbow and win the lottery.

She also says she just needed him to talk to the police and didn't expect an accomplice. Well what exactly was her original plan? To go to jail for manslaughter like the passenger said she would? It hardly makes sense in the end.

The movie ends on the biggest eye roll BS cliche of all time. Okay first, they flat out showed this woman over power this man twice. Are we just going to pretend that isn't the dumbest thing ever? Only to get toped by the ending. How many movies end like this where the main woman is a psycho!? Seriously, PSYCHO woman is trying to kill a man. Man saves himself. Other idiot men show up and INSTANTLY kill the man and the woman just acts like she was the victim. Have people who make these movies ever watched a movie before? I've seen like 15 movies where the very thing happens. I was going to give it a 2 but it deserves a 1 after that horrible HORRIBLE ending. Like she was some super genius or something? It all revolved around unbelievable coincidences and nonsense. It made zero sense that once he realized she was a psycho that he still trusted her. He should've KOed her the moment she got back into the car after the cop and just let the situation play out. SHE had fired the gun not him. Yeah he'd go to jail but better then...dying.
  • This movie was one of the worst I've seen in a while. With low budget it's always a hit or miss and with this film, it was a gigantic miss. I didn't go into the film expecting much, thought it might be okay at best but this was just awful. The writing is atrocious in every possible way from start to finish and the acting from most of the cast was horrific other than the main male lead, he was the only decent skilled actor in this film. As for those few reviews claiming this is superior or above average in any way, those are likely from the family and friends of those involved within the production of the film.

    Warning: Spoilers
"Endangered" was a well-crafted thriller with a set of fascinating twists. A ride-share driver picks up a strange man, and the characters go on a long drive into night. In the process, many facets of the two characters are cleverly revealed.

The driver, Allison, is an architect, who was let go by a local firm. She has subsequently been unable to penetrate the job market and relies on her driving job to pay her rent. Her passenger, Mike, is a paramedic with the habit of stealing valuables from deceased victims.

A sly sense of humor crept into the film, especially in the scene at the late-night drug den. The drug kingpin was outrageous, and viewers have a great treat in store for them in meeting "Kathy."

The ebb-and-flow in the action and conversation was the strength of the film. The two performers playing Allison and Mike were exceptional. Kudos as well to the screenwriters, who imaginatively conceived a plot twist made credible by the two actors.

This one is definitely worth a view for thrill-seekers and film aficionados.

    Twisted
Both the actions of the characters and the direction of events that unfold because of them! This movie quickly became a surprise favorite. Must must MUST watch!
  • Twists galore. Rented it for $5 and are so glad we did! Highly recommend it. I didn't know what to expect, but some of the reviews said it was a good indie thriller. They nailed it. The filmmakers did a great job on a small budget, and told a compelling story. Great job.
