Guest House Paradiso
(1999)

Would love to be a guest there.
"Slapstick comedy on acid" Spot on description. This is a deranged, perverted and absolutely hilarious little film that I stumbled over looking for more hysterics from Rik and Ade, done in wonderfully bad taste! Of course, if you're a "Bottom" fan, this is a must see, the main difference being this one is even ruder and over-the-top than the original series. Half of the jokes are under the belt, the rest being either completely silly or just plain offensive (and that's the way we like it).

If this sounds good for you, don't miss at all costs! Turn off Your brain and laugh yourself silly.

The Shining
(1980)

One of the most essential horror/thriller movies the last 50 years.
Rarely have a movie made such an impact on me. You can watch "The Shining" a hundred times and be equally as thrilled a hundred times. The clever cinematography and directing by Stanley Kubrick is hard to pass by, he really made me sit on the edge of the couch asking thousands of questions as soon as the credits went by, and if you're good at putting things together you might notice that this movie's imagery symbols something completely different than it appears.. The scariest thing however is the amazing soundtrack, largely dominated by the master of atonality; Krzysztof Penderecki, and really confirms the psychological tension and disturbing imagery throughout the film. A movie everyone should see, horror fan or not.

Ed, Edd n Eddy: Pop Goes the Ed/Over Your Ed
(1999)
Episode 2, Season 1

One of their best!
Ed, Edd & Eddy have been my favorite cartoon shows for a long time now. Why? Simply because of the originality, the different characters, the hilarious scenes and quotes. Everything is just so well made in overall. This episode was the third EE&E episode published, and it's one of my absolute favorites. Lot's of excellent scenes, notably the hilarious "desert/sandbox" part. The picture quality is not as good as on later episode though, but it isn't really a problem, the whole episode is a classic overall.

Great episode. Highly recommended! Watch and enjoy!

My rating: 10/10.

Nati con la camicia
(1983)

Very good, though it could have been better!
Typical Spencer/Hill product, this time they get entangled into some Secret Agent stuff, all because of misunderstandings. The overall plot works fine and the movie flows well. However, I find this as a lesser good Spencer/Hill effort because of this one is too much of the same. Rather predictable, though not directly boring; there are many excellent moments here too, topped with a (bit different) big fight scene at the end. Not bad in overall, just less good than earlier efforts.

In sum, this one is a bit uneven. I like it still, but it lacks something. Good nevertheless. Recommended mostly for fans. 3.5/5.

I due superpiedi quasi piatti
(1977)

One of their very best!
This, along with "Odds and Evens" are easily Bud and Terence's best movies along their "Trinity" stuff released in the early 70's. This, along with "All The Way, Boys!" and "Odds and Evens" was my first movie ever watched with them, and after all these years, I still can't get enough of it! Superb acting by the duo, in their own lovely style! The storyline here is slightly stronger here than on later movies too. Some flaws are present though; this one is a bit long, and drags abit, but otherwise a really excellent movie!

Pros:

Great acting and memorable quotes. Lot's of fight scenes in the usual Spencer/Hill style! Good storyline.

Cons:

A bit long, though a great movie nevertheless!

Pari e dispari
(1978)

A classic to me!
"Odds & Evens" stands out as one of my favorite Spencer/Hill movies. Even though the storyline might be a bit weak and the movie is notably low-budget, it's still entertaining to the maximal. Excellent acting from Spencer and Hill, performing in their usual unique style that they always do in their movies, and of course; the classic fight scenes (never get's old!). Classic Spencer/Hill stuff! It might drag on for a bit long though, but in overall, this movie is excellent! Recommended to both new and old fans! This was one of the first movies I saw with them and it still remains as one of my favorites! I'll rate it 4.5/5. Great show!
