Super Mario Bros.
(1993)

It wasn't THAT bad, but... (from the message board)
It wasn't THAT bad, but...

people were expecting this movie to follow the game, but were easily disappointed at the fact it didn't. i wasn't. as long as it's good, i'll watch it. this movie is only on the bottom 100 because the SMB game freaks were disappointed. another thing wrong with this movie was the special effects. never have i seen worse ones. they are even better in the back to the futures than in this one. maybe if the movie was done about 10 years later and if the production crew would actually play say, super mario world, super mario 64, and SMB: legend of the 7 stars, then it would be more considerable.

Kung Pow: Enter the Fist
(2002)

O ENTERTAINMENT presents, a STEVE OEDEKERK film, KUNG POW! ENTER THE FIST, Steve Oedekerk, Jennifer Tung, Leo Lee
O ENTERTAINMENT presents, a STEVE OEDEKERK film, KUNG POW! ENTER THE FIST, Steve Oedekerk, Jennifer Tung, Leo Lee

kung pow: enter the fist. what's to say, other than it is a well thought out comedy? maybe it's not exactly what you think, but HEY. all who have seen the movie. what are you thinking? awesome, pretty good, so-so, it sucked ass? if you are thinking whether or not you should see the movie, answer these questions first: do you know who steve oedekerk is? if you do, do you like his work? are you a fan of stupid humor (ex. airplane)? if you answered yes to all these, i reccommend you pick this one up. if you're thinking about picking this one up, get the widescreen format dvd (the full screen version sux badly). this was the only movie i preferred in widescreen. on the dvd is a cool feature. you can hear what the actors really said before the dubbing. it's actually pretty cool when you hear it

Dumb and Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd
(2003)

i knew this movie was going to be good, but i wasn't expecting this!
i did not think this movie was going to be as good as it was! this movie was hilarious! and to think "good morning america" rated this movie an F. an F?!?! i don't know WHAT they were on that day, but they said the acting sucked, the plot sucked, and there were no laughs. i think they sucked. if you are a big dumb and dumber fan, rush out and see this movie! it kicks ass! 9/10

derek, good job. it was your first time being in any type of showbiz. what a great introduction

The Majestic
(2001)

everybody knows jim for his comedic roles, but this movie...
...was an entirely different movie, especially for him. you wouldn't really think ol' carrey was capable of something like this, especially after movies like: the mask, ace ventura, dumb and dumber, and liar liar, but he was surprisingly very good in this movie. i thought he was going to be in serious dramatic roles in his movies from now on, since watching this movie, but with bruce almighty and some new comedy starring him, nevermind!

this movie is one of my top 25 movies i've ever seen (around #14)

Gekijôban Poketto Monsutâ Maboroshi no Pokemon Rugia Bakutan
(1999)

one of those rare times when a sequel is better than the first, but still not a great movie overall
although i did find more enjoyment from this movie than in the first one, it still is not a good movie. the presentation was better in this one, but it still had laughable voice acting and screenplay (like the tv show).

you dont wanna know what happens in the movie well too bad youre gonna sooner or later

ash kethum (gotta "ketchum" all. ha ha. you crack me up) ONCE again has GOT to be involved in extremely random stuff. this time, his boat is thrown off-shore to the orange islands. while there, a psychopathic guy with intentions to capture the rarest pokemon does (gee, what else is new). when tring to stop that guy, they get sent to his lair and are held prisoners as they know too much, or something i didnt really pay attention. that one cat thing says something about opposite sex, ash and rainy get married, profesor pine gets killed, and they live happily ever after. the end.

Gekijôban Poketto Monsutâ: Myûtsû no Gyakushû
(1998)

a shocking surprise to me that this movie actually did well
the movie itself had a terrible presentation, laughable voice acting, and is a movie based on one of the worst fads to ever sweep the world (in my opinion)! I can understand how kids would enjoy this movie (by kids, of course, i mean anyone under the age of 3) only because they are too young to even think something is bad, like this movie for example.

i did laugh when my brother (7 years old at the time) said he actually liked it!

ACTING: 1.5 PLOT: 1 DIRECTION: 1.5 OVERALL: 1.333...etc

if you are still a fan of pokemon, and has not seen this movie, maybe you'll find enjoyment out of this, but...

oh, forget it

i do have one question: when did mewtwo strike first?

Airplane!
(1980)

this and rat race are the most well-thought out comedies of all time
what i like about this and rat race, which all other comedies don't do, are the jokes are just thought up, whether or not they have anything to do with the plot, and put in the movie. the Z-A-Z team are living comedic legends who need to continue their mastery of comedy in future movies.

RATINGS (out of 10) airplane: 10 rat race: 10

keep it up Z-A-Z team!

Baby Blues
(2000)

weird
i think its strange that you go from a family comic to an animated cartoon for adults. i recently saw this show on adult swim on cartoon network. it's a good show and all, but i think that is kind of weird. i like that rodney kid. he reminds me of me about 10 years ago.

Vegas Vacation
(1997)

how is this only 4.9 out of 10?
this movie deserves a better rating than what you all rated it! this movie, although, is 3rd in ranking (in my opinion) but it is still good (last is European). overall, a great comedy with the best kids out of all of the vacations.

Spy Kids
(2001)

how could a movie be anymore stupid?
this is quite possibly the most retarded movie in the world (in my opinion and i hope yours, too). i went and saw this movie at the theater and left half way.

if you have not seen this movie, don't.

0/10

p.s. spy kids 2 and 3?! WHAT THE F**K IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?!?!?!

Little Nicky
(2000)

ADAM SANDLER IS NOT FUNNY!
my god! just when i thought he couldn't get any worse! this movie is terrible! bad acting, bad script, bad plot, bad jokes. i am not an adam sandler fan (no duh) and never will be. the only good sandler movie is Happy Gilmore because it's not a Happy Madison production. all Happy Madison movies are the same. bad acting, bad script, bad plot, and terrible jokes.

avoid this movie. you don't want to see it.

i give it 0.3 out of 10

Caddyshack II
(1988)

a good movie, just misunderstood
I liked this movie.

No one I know likes it, but I do.

I didn't like it as much as the first one but it was still good. The script and plot may not have changed at all, but the story was better than Caddyshack 1.

The only reason I didn't like Caddyshack 2 is...

NO RODNEY DANGERFIELD!

I think the movie would be better if Rodney Dangerfield had Jackie Mason's part. Although I did like Jackie Mason in the movie, it would be alot better if they kept Rodney Dangerfield.

Another flaw in the movie, that I didn't hate as much, was Dan Akroyd. The movie was done 8 years after the first one. Bill Murray, "Carl", could've quit his job as an assistant greenskeeper and joined the military, you know? If Warner Bros. had thought of that, it could've made the movie better, also.

This was my comment for Caddyshack II.

I give it 8.2 out of 10

It could've been better, but good nonetheless.

If you've seen Caddyshack 1 and are debating on whether or not to see Caddyshack 2, I say give it a try.

Happy Gilmore
(1996)

The best golf comedy since "Caddyshack"
SPOILER

A disgruntled hockey player not picked for a pro team finds out his grandma's house is being repossesed by the IRS. So he meets up with an ex-pro golfer, Chubbs Peterson (Carl Weathers), so he can learn to play golf for money towards buying his grandma's house back. On the course, he meets a bully, Shooter McGavin (Christopher McDonald), who wants to be the best and not for Happy, Adam Sandler, to steal his popularity. In the end, Chubbs gets killed and Happy, barely, gets his grandma's house back.

Overall, this is a great golf comedy. I liked it better than Caddyshack because it has a better plot and a better story.

The only reason I liked Caddyshack, and I did, was because Chevy Chase and Rodney Dangerfield (two of my favorite actors) are in it.

Freddy Got Fingered
(2001)

Awful, Awful, Awful, Hilarious!
The acting was terrible, the plot was terrible, the script was terrible, the movie is f**kin hilarious! Tom Green is one of the funniest people I know and this movie is him in his purest form. The movie describes him: sick, twisted, and funny. This movie starred Anthony Michael Hall, better known as "Rusty" from National Lampoons Vacation, Julie Hagerty, "Elaine" from Airplane!, Harland Williams, "Kenny" in Half Baked, and Rip Torn, "Zed" in MIB and MIB 2, for those who want to know a little about the movie.
