Cosmic Sin
(2021)

Cosmic Sin - Yes it is a sin.
This movie is horrible, in all imaginable ways. The duo Edward Drake and Corey Large seems to have some deal with Bruce Willis and i guess its plain and simple. "Bruce, i get to direct the movie, Corey gets a part in it and you get 90% of the budget as pension money. Sounds good?"

The movie is supposed to take place 500 years into the future. But nothing feels futuristic. Actually the feeling is rather that civilization taken steps back, and some generals and ex generals takes some decisions of erradicating a alien civilization without running it past the government. The future technology has no thought behind it, and seems just play a part in giving the author to this movie loop holes to build their story around.

Why Bruce Willis takes part in this crap is beyond me. Once he was a somewhat regarded actor, but perhaps the deal i described above is too good to turn down.

Nothing makes sense, not the scenery, not the acting, not the plot or the fact that aliens apparently prefeer to use spears and swords when attacking hoomans with automatic weaponry. Drake, Large and Willis has more projects going on, and my only lingering question is who the fxxx finance this crap? Does Drake or Large have rich family? I cant think Bruce finance any of it. And im not suggesting it has a big budget, but still some money have to gone into it and that is baffling.

Dont waste your time on this one. The only reason to watch it is to see how utterly worthless it is as a movie.

The only sin here is that the movie was made to begin with.

The Predator
(2018)

Yet again we see a popular franchise being utterly defiled.
I wish there was a way to officially disown movies like this. Like officially, we all agreed that this movie never happened. The predator 2018 seems to have been written by a very untalented, fat, old standup comic desperately trying to appease his audience with outdated jokes. Pretty early in the movie, you get the sense of where its heading, and there is no surprises. Forced jokes and funny situations in every scene, mixed with violence and blood and a crap load of stupid stuff, like the predatordogs becoming mans best friend, or autistic boy deciphering predatorlanguage, or...nah, ill stop there, because i could go on for ever. It is a really bad movie, and im really surprised crap like this still is being made. Avoid if possible.

Unbroken
(2014)

Could be great but ends up decent.
I rate the movie as a weak five of ten. I felt like the Zamperini portrayed in the film wasn't convincing. And not to my surprise, the real story beats the sugar coated adaptation of it for the movie. To begin with, the young Zamperini wasn't a suicidal young teenager, he was a fighter, a young man who ended up bullying his tormentors. There are many spots in the movie where the real story would have made better sense, and actually would have made the movie so much better. Louis Zamperini was a colorfull fighter, at times somewhat of a antihero, in this movie he is portrayed as a very beigue lump of insipidness. I think Angelina and the team behind the movie got caught up in the hero aura of this great man, forgetting that the true story would have given us something much more than a fictitious hero, we would have seen a real one. The craft in pure movie-making would easily lay the foundations of a 8-9 rating, but the otious way the story has been beautified, just makes it bland. Tell the real story, when it is as great as it is in this case.

Jinn
(2014)

Must be a rating boosted movie
This movie is just pointless. It seems to be a unfortunate pregnancy of a car designer company and a wannabe movie director. The story has so much holes and just doesn't make sense at all. There is a horrible car chase scene where I suppose you should think that the car is cool, but all it brings is bad will to the movie, the car, the director and the actors. It's just so pointless. Let's say, you are being chased by a supernatural being, for some reason you decide to flee in your car, and for some reason this supernatural being can't keep up with the car, but it seems to be able to jump freely between dimensions and teleportate on free will. That might be an absurd example, but still it sums up this movie, its mainly a very unfortunate attempt at advertise a car through a movie. It stays of the 1 point rating just cause of some half decent CGI effects but other than that, it's just sad. Watch it just if you are utterly bored and need to kill some time without any demands on quality or entertainment whatsoever.
