  • Decent cast and concept but it fell way short of opportunity. Teased a room full of characters that hadn't built up any back story so we're irrelevant as the dining cast. In the end it was far fetched, it's not art it's just plain balmy. It had some touches of Midsommer in it, which didn't work. There was no character building of the chef and seemed like there was plot holes as we went. Maybe the high scores are from the arty crowd and I've missed the point completely or maybe there isn't any substance to review. Anya TJ was well cast, I'd never cast RF in this role and NH suited the shy hey geeky food lover. Avoid for something else.
  • Great watch. Engaging story and filmed well. Spanish location so a different backdrop and the story works. Couple of off moments toward the end which should of been re filmed but otherwise a solid 8 and worth the time.
  • Lots of fanfare but it was really disappointing. It's not art, it's not coherent it's just disjointed. I'm lost for words really. I don't follow the high scores on here at all.
  • Enjoyable yet shocking. Well thought out and casting was good. You think you are a step ahead piecing the clues together and then bang the twist. You have to go back and watch again. Another Jordan Peele thought provoking mind game.
  • Chilling story, which sadly has likely basis in fact. Please not let this be true. Great performances throughout. You knew where this story was going but still you're shocked and intrigued. Jordan Peele this is a masterpiece.
  • The premise of the film has some merit so I gave it 2 but what was the rest of it. Lead actors completely off track, not enough back story and in that respect it missed it's mark. Idea seemed rushed and wasted. Not worth the effort.
  • This show was great from the off. Good casting and concept works. Much much better than other time travel shows with a unique time loop premise. Worth the time investment.
  • I've loved every single episode of this show. The casting is second to none and Nicola Walker is breathtaking as Hannah Stern. The dynamic between the characters works on every level. It's a sensitive and difficult subject and you get to see all aspects of that across the series. The writer/writers got it spot on. Easily one of the best U. K. drama shows. It is an emotional roller coaster, heartwarming and sad. There are predictable elements that shock when it happens and then others you second guess and are left strangely disappointed that they didn't happen. Thoroughly engaging.
  • Outstanding show. Enjoyed from beginning to the end. Stunning location. 3 key actors where exceptional, Julia Garner portrayal of Ruth breathtaking. Jason Bateman has to be the calmest actor with delivery of lines second to none. Laura Linney played her part with so much realism. This show is easily up there with Breaking Bad and I am gutted it's finished. Ending was poetic and an absolute triumph.
  • Quite light and therefore it was a decent watch. Cast did well and story worked. All in all it was worth the effort and looking forward to second film as I am sure it's done well enough for that to happen.
  • The best show ever to hit TV. Every single box is ticked in this show. Casting sublime, writing extraordinary. If you haven't watched this yet get watching.
  • Film was far too long, so it was padded without any need for that. RP was better than I expected as The Batman. Little too 'arty' with a view (?) to try compete with latest Joker and it didn't work. Bat Bike was an interesting angle, maybe confused and Bat Mobile was 'nah'. So all in all a decent stab at something different but will only lead to a further reboot. Disappointed.
  • All in all very good interpretation. Set up well, good cast all worked well. Stunning scenery and cinematography. Light enough and engaging enough. Took me a while to work out Russell Brand was cast!
  • Strong cast but this is very slow, overly simplistic and predictable. Piggy backing Line of Duty fame and that wasn't helpful in this case as it set it up to fail early on. Needed more research, more thought and more courage. Keep on plugging away and should of dropped out after the first episode.
  • Getting a bit fed up that ITV keep commissioning really weak drama. Good cast but story not plausible from start to finish, then the ending left me cursing I'd given another 4 hrs to ITV. Can someone please orientate to US drama and set that as the benchmark.
  • Absolutely dreadful. Promised much and set up to conclude with interest, then episode 6 just proved to confirm a waste of 6 hrs viewing. Flashbacks via LSD, an interesting consideration but really did we need that. Disjointed and full of plot holes, not even a thriller, not a comedy, just dreadful.
  • Well executed film, starts quickly and maintains the mystery throughout. A site of the future with global warming maybe, so not so far fetched. I'm not a fan of narrated stories but Jackman's voice works. Rebecca Ferguson typically captivating throughout. The concept is too good for a 100m outing; this would have worked over a season of two so think HBO, Hulu or Netflix missed a trick.
  • Simply stunning TV. Writing is pristine, characterisation breathtaking, acting sublime. One of the best TV shows you will ever see. PWB you created a masterpiece.
  • Not many big name actors whom would of carried the film better but all in all it is a good watch. Predictable in parts and some weaker cinematography in places but it's the decent twist at the end that makes it all worthwhile. I not so much of a fan of the director so this in my view is easily up there with his biggest hits, if not better.
  • Great film. Acting spot on. Different story and refreshingly watchable from start to finish. Never been a fan of lead actress but she is excellent in this and Harrison Ford is film royalty so works well. Didn't see this first time round so glad I spotted it.
  • Not so great. Difficult to follow and pointless. Good cast but film was too disjointed throughout. Ending equally poor.
  • It's a zero. What on earth is this film. It is absolutely sick, vile and horrible - and that is enough to warn you to avoid at all costs. Florence Pugh is an excellent up and coming actress and I'm sure when she picks up an Oscar in the future she will regret this film. Trailer is a tease, the film gets weirder and weirder and then the end is just the worst. Without a doubt the singular worst film I have ever seen. Grotesque!
  • Eerie movie. You get caught up in the story quickly and it's a decent ride along. Nice unexpected twist at the end. Good cast, all works well.
  • Generally I'll avoid a foreign film, so was forced to engage in this. Thank goodness I agreed! It was absolutely brilliant. The hype is justified, so so good. It just works so well, cast great, acting great, story great. You can guess where it might be heading, clever, but then you will be super surprised. Order your takeaway and get watching.
  • Watched soon after being spellbound by Parasite. Interesting concept and isn't as dystopian as we might think. Perfectly depicts societal ranking and privilege, everyone has a role to play. Tilda Swinton is absolutely stunning in this film, what a performance. It's gory and disturbing but very thought provoking. Loved it, well worth a watch. So much so Netflix picked the concept up for serialisation.
