Software firm Innovid is launching a new initiative called Harmony that aims to bring greater transparency to the measurement and effectiveness of advertising campaigns across connected platforms.
The aim of the Harmony initiative is to “streamline the supply path to its purest form, ensuring more advertiser dollars go toward working media, increasing revenue opportunities for publishers, and creating a more sustainable, transparent path,” the company said in a statement on Tuesday.
The overall goal is to ensure that one company does not become a dominant player in the measurement and delivery of advertising. Instead, Innovid believes it is best positioned to offer a suite of measurement solutions tailored to connected video systems that bring a higher level of transparency and sustainability to advertising campaigns across multiple platforms.

The episode of Wtf Happened to This Horror Movie? covering Final Destination 5 was Written, Narrated, and Edited by Tyler Nichols, Produced by Andrew Hatfield and John Fallon, and Executive Produced by Berge Garabedian.
The Final Destination series is in the midst of a near 13 year break. But thankfully that should be ending next year with the sixth entry in the series. But there was another time when the franchise seemed as good as dead. After The Final Destination came out, it seemed like that was the end of any cheating of death. But thankfully Eric Heisserer came along with an script that would blow audiences away. So we’re getting into all the gymnastics mishaps, terrible bridge construction, and massages with a not so happy ending, as we look at Wtf Happened To Final Destination 5 (watch it Here).

“Succession” star Sarah Snook is worried about how AI might end up being used, and is calling for regulations to protect not just actors but all workers.

Writers and actors have been speaking out this year about the threat of artificial intelligence to their respective crafts, with contention over AI playing a key role in the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Well, now Tom Hanks is a case study in what’s now possible.

“Beware!! There’s a video out there promoting some dental plan with an AI version of me,” Hanks wrote. “I have nothing to do with it.”

Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) is an iconic The Young and the Restless character. For the past four decades, fans have laughed and cried alongside Esther during many bouts of Genoa City drama. Let’s look at the legendary soap opera character.
The Young and the Restless star Kate Linder I Robin L Marshall/Getty Images Who played Esther Valentine on ‘The Young and the Restless’?
Linder has played the iconic Esther on The Young and the Restless for nearly 41 years. The actor made her soap opera debut on Apr. 8, 1982. The role was initially supposed to be for one day, but the producers decided to make Esther a permanent character.
Esther becomes the loyal maid and friend of Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper). The maid provided some much-needed humor whenever Genoa City was overwhelmed with drama. Although most of Esther’s time was spent helping Katherine, she had her own bouts of trouble.

God Friended Me is the CBS show you should be watching, and if you're not, then you need to check it out Asap!
The first couple of episodes were focused on Miles Fisher and the fact he is an atheist, even though his father is a minister. But that was more to set the premise and help Miles learn to have faith again, not necessarily believe in God but have faith.
Even with God in the title, the show is about so much more. It is about doing good and helping others, something the word is sorely lacking at the moment. There is so much bad news breaking daily, watching a show that is about doing good is refreshing.
Helping others used to be a way of life, but today people need a push or to know they are going to get something in return. God Friended Me reminds us...

Not to be outdone, Lifetime will debut not one, but two movies per night — not that it’s a competition or anything!

The trouble with John Leonetti’s Wolves At The Door is that it doesn’t quite know what it wants to be or for whom it is exactly aimed at. The film has what could admittedly be considered as one of the most terrifying opening scenes in a horror movie you’ll see this year, but sadly for its makers, it ends up leaving a bad taste in the mouth and some serious questions about the morality of such an undertaking.
Written by Gary Dauberman (Annabelle), Wolves At The Door is loosely based on the murders of Hollywood actress Sharon Tate and her friends at the hands of the Manson Family (a murderous cult lead by Charles Milles Manson) in the summer of 1969. The film itself never explicitly gives away who these characters really are, until the end credits, hoping instead to capitalise on a new generation...

Author Bret Easton Ellis has long maintained a touchy relationship with Mary Harron's "American Psycho" starring Christian Bale. "I...don’t think really works as a film," he said back 2013, arguing that the very construct of Patrick Bateman becomes compromised when realized in a movie. However, people might've forgotten that a couple of years earlier, Ellis himself was throwing his weight behind a feature film remake from Noble Jones, a second unit director on "The Social Network" (the author wanted Scott Disick or Miles Fisher for the lead role). That project fizzled (as did a potential prequel series), but Ellis is now mounting a Broadway take on "American Psycho." And in an interview in Rolling Stone, Ellis reveals that before Harron made her film, he had a written a script with some heavyweight talent involved. Kardashian beaus Scott Disick and Kanye West seem to have become close, because the two men teamed up for a new short film promo for West's new album "Yeezus." In the "American Psycho"-inspired video, Disick plays a Patrick Bateman-like version of himself who is obsessed with West's music.
In "American Psycho, Christian Bale's Bateman is obsessed with Huey Lewis and the News, and rants about the band before he kills his colleague Paul Allen, played by Jared Leto. Here it's Kim Kardashian's friend Jonathan Cheban who is the victim of murder.
"Now Kanye's decided to release this, 'Yeezus,' the most exciting record so far. It should be obvious by now that 'New Slaves' is the undisputed masterpiece on 'Yeezus,' a song so catchy that most people won't even remember the lyrics -- but they should," Disick rants to Cheban before killing him in the video with an axe.

When Ben moves in, Jason sees this as an opportunity to reflect on his mistakes and steer Ben onto an opposite path. With his slicked-back hair and ultra-preppy wardrobe, Scott Disick bears an uncanny resemblance to "American Psycho" protagonist Patrick Bateman.
And at a Halloween bash at 10ak Nightclub in Las Vegas this weekend, Mr. Kourtney Kardashian dressed as the axe-wielding investment banker from Bret Easton Ellis' satire of greed.
This isn't the first time Disick has admitted that he sees the similarities. Last year, he expressed interest in playing Bateman on the big screen:

Well, that was fast. Just a brief hint of an idea earlier today, the Tom Cruise sci-fi vehicle "Our Name Is Adam" is already earning big time attention from a studio that has been putting some big faith in the actor. Meanwhile, another project looks like it's being given its walking papers. Deadline reports that Paramount Pictures is pursuing a high priced deal to land the movie with Cruise, and now some intriguing details about the movie penned by T.S. Nowlin ("Agent 13" with Rupert Wyatt and Charlize Theron attached) have emerged. Appparently, the movie is a "Back To The Future" style movie where Cruise would go back in time and meet his younger self. Miles Fisher, get your agent on the phone. This would mark yet another project at the studio with Cruise, who starred in last year's "Mission: Impossible -- Ghost Protocol," will lead "Jack Reacher" this December,...

You may not know director Dave Green's name, but chances are good you've seen.and been stunned.by his work. A helmer of music videos and commercials, Green has helped create that deeply weird "New Romance" video, that combined Saved By The Bell with Final Destination, and this freaky but funny Liquid Flow ad that boasts the insane powers of waterproof pockets. But it was his Hollywood-skewering web shorts.that also feature Miles Fisher.which drew the notice of studios. In Pinkberry: The Movie and its follow-up Staff Meeting: The Movie Fisher played a trend-obsessed, high-powered exec ever in search of the next big thing. Offering a blistering parody of movie project development and a host of cameos including Charlize Theron, Shawn Levy and Max Landis, these vids made the rounds in Hollywood and drew Green some major buzz. With his wacky and irreverent sense of humor it's no...

Do you remember "Pinkberry: The Movie"? No? Well, you can watch it below, but it was a viral video made a couple years back featuring Miles Fisher as a powerful executive at the agency Wme imploring his employees to come up with the next wave movie idea. The result? That's right, a movie based on everyone's favorite frozen snack. It was a pretty fun and witty insider jab at the industry that is hungry for the next big thing, and now a followup has arrived.
"Staff Meeting: The Movie" finds Fisher back in the conference room, and this time latching onto what he feels will be the next hot trend: viral videos about industry staff meetings. It's a bit more inside baseball than 'Pinkberry' but still worth a watch, as it does contain some pretty big laughs. The've upped the star quotient this time around with Charlize Theron, Shawn Levy...

We've all wondered what it's like inside Wme meetings. Apparently, Charlize Theron drops by between pitches. Two viral videos are lighting up the Internet - or, at least, Hollywood executive suites. "Staff Meeting Video: The Movie," starring Miles Fisher, the "J. Edgar" actor behind "Pinkberry: The Movie," spoofs the high-stakes, high-pressure environment at a Wme staff meeting. It made its debut following Friday's all-company staff meeting at the agency. But there's more. While executives were busy spoofing their meeting, their assistants were busy spoofing the bosses. Uploaded to YouTube on Sunday, "Shit Hollywood...

If Hollywood’s obsession with sequels wasn’t abundantly clear from the number of them the industry produces each year, now even insider projects are receiving their own follow-up. Following the success of Wme’s internally-produced Pinkberry: The Movie, the agency released a follow-up on Friday entitled Staff Meeting: The Movie. The short re-enlists Final Destination 5 actor Miles Fisher as a high-powered executive who berates his staff for being behind the curve: he suggests that instead of producing movies, the agency should be releasing viral videos of inter-office politics and signing stars of viral videos such

After the success of Pinkberry: The Movie, the spoof film that was generated internally by Wme staff for a quarterly meeting, the agency lit department has unveiled a sequel: Staff Meeting: The Movie. The new spoof made its debut at the all company meeting last Friday, and somebody put it on YouTube, which is where I found it. While Pinkberry mainly took swipes at actual Wme agents, this film spreads the pain to other agencies as well. Back as the Ari-esque agency head is Miles Fisher, who has a pretty good film career going as a result of the fact everybody in Hollywood saw Pinkberry. The new movie was directed by Dave Green, scripted by Henry Gayden, with Charlize Theron, Shawn Levy and Max Landis joining in the mischief as well as a host of agents including Adam Venit, Phil Raskind, Danny Greenberg and Rick Rosen. I particularly love the...

Exclusive: Writer Geoff Latulippe just closed his first directing job at Paramount. Latulippe, who scripted Going the Distance and Breathers, will write and direct an untitled comedy ensemble based on his pitch at Paramount. What makes this particularly interesting for Deadline is that his studio shot came about after Par Film Group president Adam Goodman saw on Deadline a short that Latulippe’s made for Wme’s all-company retreat in which Curb Your Enthusiasm‘s J.B. Smoove took over the agency on Yom Kippur. That got the aspiring director a meeting, where the studio bought his pitch and set him to direct. Dawn Olmstead and Marti Noxon are producing the project. Latulippe is Wme-repped. He’s the second piece of talent from a Hollywood parody aired on Deadline who got a career nudge. After playing an Ari-esque superagent in another Wme-generated spoof Pinkberry: The Movie, the UTA-repped Miles Fisher got...

In the treacherous realm of horror movie sequels and prequels, Final Destination 5 ranks as one of the more rewarding. The creative team had originally meant to close off the series with the fourth movie The Final Destination, but then opted for one last go round. The fifth movie serves as a prequel that loops back into the first movie. For long time fans, there are several Easter eggs with regards to character appearances as well as a few of the horrible deaths that take place. The Blu-ray release will delight fans of the film. The producers included step-by-step featurettes on some of the large-scale death sequences. If you’re up watching this film late at night, seeing the deaths demystified is a nice way to ward off the nightmares.

This is the Pure Movies review of Final Destination 5, starring Nicholas D'Agosto, Emma Bell, Miles Fisher, Ellen Wroe, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, P.J. Byrne, Arlen Escarpeta and David Koechner, directed by Steven Quale. The film was reviewed by Natalie Peck for the Pure Movies coverage of Film4 Frightfest. The Final Destination franchise is back, complete with a fresh line-up of victims for Death to pick off one by one. Sam (Nicholas D'Agosto) has a disturbing vision of a bridge collapse, and saves his co-workers from a grisly end, including girlfriend Molly (Emma Bell). After a warning from the local coroner (Candyman star Tony Todd) the survivors realise that they are destined to die, in increasingly inventive and entertaining ways of course. Sam and Molly might be the wettest couple on the planet - no one is exactly routing for them - but that is largely irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

Chicago – There’s no question that the “Final Destination” series is among the most lame-brained, ill-conceived, lazily executed franchises in Hollywood history. Every installment follows the exact same plot formula, from the opening catastrophe to the bleak epilogue. There isn’t a single surprise or quality scare in these pictures, and yet they still continue to make copious amounts of money.
But after the wretched awfulness of the oddly titled 3D reboot, “The Final Destination,” this fifth installment is a slight improvement, if only because the filmmakers play much of it for laughs. James Cameron’s frequent collaborator, Steven Quale, is in the director’s chair this time around, and needless to say, he makes the film vastly more polished than it has any right to be. Yet he’s still unable to make the picture resonate as anything other than a mediocre time waster.

At home alone the other night, I agonized between my top two choices for the evening’s entertainment; the newly released DVD of Final Destination 5, or a copy of Pauly Shore’s Encino Man that I picked up on the cheap. “I’ve already seen Encino Man,” I thought to myself. “Yeah, but you’ve basically already seen Final Destination four times before, too” came my internal reply. Ooooh! Burn! Good one, me!
But seriously. When I throw myself behind a series, I’m usually in it for the long haul, no matter how bad things get. I stuck with the entire Saw franchise,...
