Spoiler Warning: This story includes major plot details from Episode 8 and 9 of “Agatha All Along,” currently streaming on Disney+.
Agatha Harkness, the coven-less witch, and Billy Maximoff, the son of the Scarlet Witch, reached the end of the Witches’ Road in the two-part finale of “Agatha All Along” — and very little was as it first seemed.
The episodes — titled “Follow Me My Friend / To Glory at the End” and “Maiden Mother Crone” — revealed the truth of how the Witches’ Road was created, who wrote the Ballad that conjured it into being and what really happened to Agatha’s son Nicholas Scratch.

Kelsey Grammer’s titular shrink went back to his old Kacl stomping grounds this week on the Paramount+ revival, accompanied by his producer pal Roz and reuniting with former colleagues Bulldog (Dan Butler) and Gil Chesterton (Edward Hibbert). And for the episode, Frasier recreated the radio set from the original series down to the last microphone cord… even though Grammer himself wasn’t moved to tears by the results.

Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune are two of the most popular (and profitable) TV programs. But now, a legal dispute has unfolded between the companies behind them. As Variety reported, Sony Pictures Television, which produces both shows, is suing CBS. The lawsuit was filed at the Los Angeles Superior Court on Thursday, October 31. Because the game shows are syndicated, they can air on any major network. Sony alleges that CBS has not fulfilled its contract to distribute Jeopardy! and Wheel of Fortune to local TV stations and has entered into unauthorized distribution deals overseas. “As stated in our complaint, CBS has been egregiously undercutting the value and profitability of these shows in favor of its own self-interest,” Sony said in a statement. “CBS has pocketed millions in distribution fees from unauthorized deals, licensed the shows domestically well below market value, and favored its wholly-owned shows in advertising sales and distribution,...

Cinephiles glaze over when it comes to a Hallmark Channel movie.
For some, that crisp, red Hallmark banner promises aspirational storytelling with subtle double entendres, great bankable chemistry between actors, and a cozy Nancy Meyers aesthetic, whether it be for thrillers like “Mystery 101” and “Curious Caterer” or the beloved (and now iconic) Countdown to Christmas banner, which celebrates its 15th anniversary this year.
For other, more cynical film fans, Hallmark content can easily be written off as a made-for-tv movie — never mind that some of the most iconic smaller productions in decades past started as made-for-tv films. And Hallmark, much like “Law and Order,” has been a rite of passage for actors, with a fair share of famous alums ranging from Sarah Paulson to Carrie Fisher.

Sony filed a lawsuit Thursday accusing CBS of self-dealing and of failing to maximize revenues in its syndication of “Wheel of Fortune” and “Jeopardy!”
Sony and CBS have partnered for decades on the iconic game shows, with Sony handling production and CBS overseeing distribution. The suit alleges that CBS has seen waves of layoffs and corporate turmoil in the last couple of years, rendering it incapable of properly distributing the shows.
The suit, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, also alleges that Sony recently learned that CBS had entered into unauthorized deals in New Zealand and Australia, and had pocketed $3.6 million in fees.

Every soap opera fan knows no one is ever truly gone in the world of soaps. Characters are seemingly killed off, only to be brought back years later. The possibilities are endless. Kelly Monaco‘s exit from General Hospital has garnered outcry from fans who have watched her play the fiercely beloved Sam McCall for 20 years. Her character died on the soap in the October 30 episode, but that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s the last we’ll see of her in the show. Given soap history, there are a number of ways Monaco could return to Gh (if she wants that). Let’s break down the most plausible (and implausible) theories. 1. Sam has a twin. It’s a soap tale as old as time. A mysterious twin pops up out of nowhere. It’s already happened with Jason and Drew (and countless others). Why couldn’t the same happen with Sam?...

[Warning: The following contains Major spoilers for Survivor Season 47 Episode 7.] There’s one trend among castaways in the new era of Survivor that still has Jeff Probst scratching his head seven seasons in. The “new era” is Survivor Seasons 41 through the present day, when all of the seasons are 26 days of gameplay instead of 39 like every season prior. In the latest episode of the Survivor On Fire podcast (embedded below), tied to the October 30 episode on CBS, Probst asked cohost and Season 46 runner-up Charlie Davis to help him understand his biggest point of confusion in the new era, and it led to a discussion about a mistake that contestants too often make in recent seasons. Survivor Season 47 Episode 7 showed Sol finding an advantage that he could gift to the opposing side before tribal council. He chose wisely by giving the advantage to Rachel, who was the only person at tribal who wasn’t formerly part of the Tuku tribe.

Hayes Davenport is a comedy writer with an enviable resume, having worked on shows like “Eastbound & Down,” “Family Guy,” “Vice Principals” and “Dickinson.” Yet he left that career behind for a three-year run working at City Hall, with a special focus on helping Los Angeles’ homeless population.
It’s a journey he first started by supporting the campaign of Nithya Raman, who became a Los Angeles City Council member for the 4th District in 2020.

Unlike its rivals, NBCUniversal long ago developed a healthy fear of zombies.
Not the shambling, undead kind that lurch around trying to eat brains, but rather the media variety: “Undead” cable networks that long ago gave up all hopes of cultivating audiences around the clock and instead run only a few hours of original programming, coupled with seemingly endless repeats of TV favorites, like “Ridiculousness” (MTV); “Fear Factor” (Hln); or “Seinfeld” (Comedy Central).
Paramount Global and Warner Bros. Discovery, two of the bigger owners of these cable-network wraiths, haven’t had much to show for keeping them up and running.

Wheel of Fortune has never offered viewers a shortage of puzzling answers during Pat Sajak’s reign, from “Right In The Butt” to “Warm Bagels with Lo*w* and Cream Cheese” (when just the “X” was missing in “Lox.”). It was only a matter of time before new host Ryan Seacrest presided over a truly bad guess, and the dubious honor was finally achieved on Wednesday, October 30’s episode, according to stupefied fans. Sharay from Palmdale, California, who shared that she recently completed her doctorate in psychology, was the player who botched the puzzle. She was spinning to solve a three-word puzzle under the category “Same Name.” She chose an “N,” “L,” and a “P,” all of which were on the board, and the puzzle displayed as: “Car & IN_INIT_ Pool.” However, with only two letters blank, she spun again instead of solving and selected a “B.” Silence filled the...

Death most festive befalls a quaint little town in Mistletoe Murders, the coziest Christmas mystery mashup made for the holidays. It’s a Christmystery! “Stop it!” screams the absolutely effervescent Sarah Drew at the portmanteau. “I’m taking it. Christmas mystery…yes! It is so fun,” she continues. “This character…I’ve had more fun playing her than anything I’ve ever played.” And she’s just as fun to watch. The Grey’s Anatomy alum stars in the six-episode series as Emily Lane, the seemingly sunny owner of a year-round Christmas shop named Under the Mistletoe. But beneath the surface, as we learn through Drew’s hilarious voice-overs, Emily is edgier than your typical Hallmark heroine: slightly sarcastic, sharply observant, and super savvy when it comes to solving murders. Basically, she’s a childless cat lady you don’t want to mess with! Hallmark+ “The first episode is so fantastic,...

Sharon Leone is in charge of Edgewater’s fire department, and Diane Farr took control behind the camera for the November 1 episode of Fire Country. It’s her directorial debut, and she couldn’t be more excited. “Everything” excited her about directing, Farr shares with TV Insider. “It was written by Tia Napolitano, our showrunner, along with Barbara Friend, who is, I want to say, our strongest gal, been there from the beginning, the most giving person. They put heart into everything. So I knew it was going to be amazing and it’s so scary to do something new always, right? But maybe a little more scary over 50. I’m supposed to be the old dog who knows how to do everything. So the idea of trying something new really, really had me on edge.” Below, Farr talks about Sharon and Vince (Billy Burke) trying not to parent Bode (Max Thieriot) this season,...

“Doctor Odyssey,” ABC’s melange of medical crises, Special Guest Stars, and glistening bare skin set on a luxury cruise ship, is an intentional fantasy. Despite Captain Robert Massey’s somber reminder that real life can occasionally intrude on the magic of the Odyssey, the show itself is highly polished make believe. Even death, when it comes, brings with it free bouquets.
“The idea of coming aboard the Odyssey is an escape from reality, a fantasy of sorts,” Makeup Department Head Sabrina Wilson told IndieWire. “It’s a voyage many people may have spent their whole lives saving for. All the guests are treated like royalty and with the highest respect. Everything is glamorous, sparkling, and beautiful.”
That sense of heightened reality extends to the show’s makeup, as well. “Tattoos do not exist in our world, so any visible tattoo has to be covered and body makeup applied to even our tan lines,...

After The View‘s cohosts spent the first “Hot Topic” segment of Thursday’s (October 31) show clowning on Donald Trump’s garbage truck ride stunt, they turned to another headline-making moment of his campaigning from the night before. In the speech, Trump proclaimed, “My people told me about four weeks ago — I was saying ‘I want to protect the people, I want to protect the women of our country’ [and they said] ‘Sir, please don’t say that.’ ‘Why?’ They said, ‘We think it’s very inappropriate for you to say.’ I said, ‘Well, I’m going to do it whether the women like it or not.'” Whoopi Goldberg issued the first incredulous reaction from the panel,...

TV Insider caught up with Ha at the Dune: Prophecy premiere in New York City on October 3o. Ha plays Young Kasha in the series, and we couldn’t help but ask the star about possible pop culture influences on Benedict and Sophie’s love story. After all, Season 3 of Bridgerton was heavily influenced by rom-coms such as Pretty in Pink and She’s All That. Focus Features/courtesy Everett Collection Ha admits there aren’t a lot of direct influences or inspirations surrounding Benedict and Sophie’s romance, outside of the Cinderella story format plucked from Julia Quinn’s book, An Offer From a Gentleman.
