• That Justice Be Done (1945)

    *** (out of 4)

This ten minute short from George Stevens was produced by the War Activities Committee so that people could see the horrid things that Adolf Hitler and Germany were doing in WWII. If you're a fan of Stevens or know anything about him then you already know that him making these shorts during WWII really did change the way he looked at life. This short lasts only ten minutes but there's no question that the director didn't want to shy away from the horrors that were done by Hitler. The documentary discusses what the war trials are for and why it's so important that certain people pay for the crimes that they committed. The documentary also doesn't shy away from the physical torture that was performed on people and we see several graphic photos of victims.
