Diane feels like she is an alien after four years, not being included in a movie night at Sam's. So Frasier talks them into taking Diane to the Opera. This leads to some pretty comedic moments and a connection between Sam and Diane--sort of. Anyway, it's a good idea and the scene in the box at the opera is quite hilarious.

ComedyFan201018 May 2014The guys always make fun of Diane and guys she is seeing. And they don't take her to their fun nights which upsets her. Frasier suggests them to take her to the opera. He arranges the night the way she would like it. At the opera everyone is bored even Diane falls asleep. But she is very attracted to Sam for this. He can't stand lying to her and confesses later that it was made by Frasier.
The episode had its good moments. It was already fun to see them at the opera all dressed up and with Cliff's huge binoculars. Carla doing Diane a favor by not coming was also funny. Although I am glad her and Sam didn't sleep with each other. I prefer them not dating. -
