Umm, talent means nothing anymore! Writers, producers, and actors at one time were skilled and had talent. There is no reason this 28 minute show should have a two plus minute intro. Social media has ruined television, not everyone is talented no matter what your parents told you. This is trash.

This movie was better than I expected. The actors were cute, that's why I gave it 4 stars. It was basically the same type of movie you would expect with drug dealers and living in poor communities. But with a small edge to it.
  • Warning: Spoilers
This is not a show I would normally watch at all as I tend to prefer a full cast of actors who can actually act and deliver realistic dialogue, but Eric Cross was too much fun to watch. His character reminded me of a character in another series that I enjoyed very much--Dexter. I also thought the role played by the lead male doctor was not bad. I actually only gave it a chance because it's a Black production AND Darren Dewitt Henson is in it. I like some of his other projects.

There was some absolutely asinine subplots going on. The detective and his wife made no sense. No kind of chemistry whatsoever. The human trafficking ring with the old woman locked in the cell. (What the heck was wrong with her skin??? Was that real or fake?) Casting Erica as a doctor was completely unrealistic. She didn't pull that off at all. The sister who was snatched as a kid and all the random females with her were the worst actresses of all. Their scenes were cringe-worthy!!! The hospital administrator was so unrealistic with her silly facial expressions that it was hilarious. I cracked up every time she appeared on screen. The detective's wife could not act her way out of a paper bag. Her scenes were sad, and I actually felt lowkey embarrassed for her, the kidnapped sister, the hospital admin, and the other chick who wanted to be a boss after the "mother" was killed. Did these people even take acting lessons or were they found on a bus stop or in the mall or something? I hope they learned from this show and their acting improves if they plan to try to continue this career path. Lord.

DESPITE all of the bad acting, those were not the lead actors so they didn't completely destroy the show. However, I found myself addicted! Even with the bad acting, I still had to know what happened next, and Eric Cross stole the show every scene he was in, apparently without trying because he also has some more work to do in polishing his acting skills.

I watched the first season on Amazon Prime and got a free trial of ALLBLK just to see the second season, but there were only two episodes posted. So I went on and paid for a month just to watch the rest of the episodes. I am really hopeful that the acting and direction gets better because it has some potential to have successfully piqued my interest enough to watch every episode. Had this show had a bigger budget and a better director (and some writers who were actually logical thinkers), I think it could have been really good! BUT that's not to say it's terrible because I don't think it is at all. It was really entertaining if you can look past the bad acting and crazy subplots. Does that even make sense? lmao

But give it a chance. Don't believe us reviewers. Watch ONE episode and see what you think for yourself. Look at it solely for entertainment value and put aside any hopes of logic, realism, or great acting and you will not be disappointed if you don't set your expectations any higher than that.

And if they come out with another season, I will sure watch that too. I really hope to see these actors grow and improve in this and future roles.

I gave this a really good shot - I almost made it through three episodes - but I couldn't handle the lead character's weak behaviour any longer. She's supposed to be a strong, intelligent, capable medical professional, but she allows herself to be insulted by everyone around her, including subordinates. She lets men manhandle her and push her around, without defending herself. When she does defend herself, it's to murder them. Talk about going from one extreme to another(!) Her twin brother is a tattooed drug dealer and gang member. The cop who's after her is an alcoholic lesbian whose partner covers for her. It's just one tired cliché after another. The dialogue is incredibly trite too. I really wanted to like this, but it was excruciating to watch. Do better.
  • Honestly, the only reason I got to episode 3 was because Eric is super hot. I forwarded all Detective Candance scenes, she is just too much, its annoying. I didnt understand anything in the script, everything about this series is just wrong/misplaced, 90% of the cast is annoying. I just cant. How is there even a season 2?
  • The acting is B movie grade, but once you start the show, you have to finish. I paid for a month of this streaming service because there were two episodes I had to finish.

Low budget, but very entertaining. The brother was probably was beat part of the show. I hope there is a Season 2. I will be back!
  • An improbable story, terribly written and poorly acted. Other than that, it wasn't bad.

The first scene driving made me wonder if it would be good but once I got passed that the show turned out great. The plot was good. The back story of the characters were great; not over kill but enough to make me wonder. The twins were gangsta. I sat and binge watched all episodes. Episode 6.ended just right. Left me wondering. Looking forward to watching more.
  • It was an okay season for new faces on the screen. I'm looking forward to season two just need a little more practice for the whole cast honestly. But I won't take away that it was a good show an story line, it was just too predictable. But I can tell with more practice they show will grow on us 🤗👏🏽✊🏾. Congratulations guys again I'm looking forward to season two
  • I'm gonna assume the first episode was shot, the entire cast realized none of them could deliver a line without sounding like they were reading the script, stopped production and all took top of the line acting lessons, formed back up and finished the remaining 5 episodes with stellar acting chops. Unfortunately, I'll never know, because I couldn't get past the first episode.
  • I absolutely love it. I can't wait for a new episode each week. I think it's good for the platform it's shown on. I'm used to these types of shows so I understand them more than most. The acting ain't ah that bad either. The intro song is way too long! Lol!
  • Ok. The show needs work but, I like it. Some of the characters I good have done without. Like the fiancée and his lover. The graphics need work. I wanted to slap Ms. Audrey once I saw her. The show will grow on you just give a chance. Oh yeah and the female detective needs to go to acting class. She is doing to much. Again Eric is fine! Some of the scenes are a put much like the shower scene between Erica and the Dr. (yuck) Again I like it. Let's give some newcomers a chance. One more thing the female officer is doing to much also.
  • Where do I start? The $1.98 production budget? The clunky script? The awful acting?

This doesn't even have the "it's so bad it's good" factor going for it.

Turned it off halfway through the first episode. Watching a boiling pot would probably be more entertaining.

Well looks like acting skills don't matter if you look good thats all I need to say but if I would pass on this one😳

This was the most unbelievable, infantile show I've EVER seen. Bad acting, bad script .... bad EVERYTHING. It only played to the end because I cleaned my room and lost the remote. I think it killed brain cells.

Such an amazing series. Well done by all involved and totally looking for to more. Keep up the great work!
  • I have to agree with mobilehomey's review! In my opinion, this is worse than a Tyler Perry production, unless it is one?
  • So when are we getting season 2 bc I need that asap .
  • sisycastillo25 February 2021
It is not for children the show. I like the actors but the storyline drags and it looks unreal. They try to hard to act their part.
  • Where do I begin?? The intro is too long! This is not Power! The storyline was unrealistic. The acting....oh lord! The acting was atrocious! Erica is traipsing around the hospital in stilettos and minidresses. On episode 5 the twins are dressed like superhero's with Batman masks on. The only reason I made it through all 6 episodes is because Eric is FINE!

I love this show! It's a superhero villain and the acting is great! Don't listen to the critics or the haters. I hope another season is coming. I can't wait!!!

So this acting is not award winning most of the series. However it's actually entertaining of course it's far fetched as hell. But there was enough going on here to keep me watching for 12 episodes.
  • All reviewers should have to watch this to appreciate what bad really is. The bar can't be set any lower.
  • This show has the worst acting I've ever seen a lot of them need to get a little more experience before they release anything else I waisted $4.99 trying to see this the storyline is alight the acting makes it hard to follow
  • The storyline is good. The acting is just BAD!!!! The show didn't keep my attention. I don't want to give it a score at all.

    Back to the drawing board.
