Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) asks to meet with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) about her unborn child. She says that after talking to Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), she realizes that he needs to be more involved in order for people to believe that he is the father.

He agrees to be on the birth certificate and to also provide a medical history if need be. He reassures Sasha that he will do whatever is necessary to be there for her. As they are talking, the baby kicks for the first time, and Jason gets to feel it.

After Josslyn (Eden McCoy) disappeared from Port Charles, she headed straight into Wsb training.

While Carly (Laura Wright) thinks her daughter is exploring Easter Island, Joss is busy taking tests to ensure she is ready to take the reins as a newly minted Wsb agent.

Earlier this week, viewers saw Brennan (Chris McKenna) receive test scores for Joss, and now, viewers will see Joss dealing with her handler, Vaughn (Bryce Durfee).

The previews suggest that Joss isn’t as easy to work with as Vaughn had hoped, which isn’t unexpected given she is her mother’s daughter.

“General Hospital” has cast actor and model Bryce Durfee in the recurring role of Vaughn, Josslyn’s (Eden McCoy) handler at the Wsb.

According to Soap Opera Digest, which first reported the news via an interview with the actor, Durfee makes his debut on the Friday, March 7 episode of the daytime drama series.

“I was anxious in the sense that I didn’t know what to expect because I knew the soap world moves fast. But as far as the performance, I had just finished another project and was feeling loose and ready to go, so I was really excited for that,” said Durfee of his first day on the job.

“That first day was just a whirlwind! I kind of felt like I got thrown into a washing machine and I got spit out an hour later [laughs],” he continued. “That’s kind of how I remember that first day.

Although rumors have swirled for months since her exit from “General Hospital,” where she played Sam McCall on the daytime drama series for 21 years, as of right now, there is no truth to social media rumblings that Kelly Monaco has landed a new soap gig, particularly at “Days of our Lives,” Soap Opera Network has confirmed.

According to unsubstantiated reports, Monaco was to start taping at the Peacock series in March but a rep for the show tells us there is no truth to that, stating adamantly, “Not true.”

Soap Opera Network first broke the news last August when we reported “General Hospital” had plans to “terminate” Monaco’s character off the show. The following month, Monaco taped her final episodes, with a video of her final day on set going viral in mid-November. Nickelodeon is breathing new life into the popular “Victorious” franchise with a comedy series that brings back Daniella Monet as Trina Vega – this time as a teacher at Hollywood Arts High School.

The multi-camera comedy, currently titled “Hollywood Arts,” marks the second spinoff from the original series that aired from 2010 to 2013. Monet will not only star in the show but also serve as an executive producer, bringing her extensive television experience to the project.

“I could not be happier” about the new venture, said Avan Jogia, one of Monet’s former co-stars, in an Instagram Stories post that hints at continued camaraderie among the original cast. While the network has not yet confirmed whether other original cast members will appear, early social media interactions suggest positive feelings about the project.

“Victorious” has another spinoff in the works, with Daniella Monet set to reprise her role as Trina Vega in a multi-cam Nickelodeon comedy with the working title “Hollywood Arts,” Variety has confirmed.

The series, which is in development and has not yet been greenlit, will follow Trina as she returns to her old stomping grounds to teach students at the fictional Los Angeles performing arts high school. It would mark the second spinoff of “Victorious,” following “Sam & Cat,” starring Jennette McCurdy and Ariana Grande.

Casting is underway for the spinoff, and it’s unclear whether any other “Victorious” stars — including Victoria Justice — will reprise their roles in “Hollywood Arts.”

Monet, who starred in all four seasons of “Victorious” as the older sister to Justice’s Tori Vega, will executive produce the spinoff alongside Jake Farrow (who was a writer-producer on “Victorious” and “Sam & Cat”) and Samantha Martin.

Exclusive: The Victorious universe is eying further expansion with a second spinoff series, Hollywood Arts (working title). Starring Daniella Monet, who will reprise her role as Trina Vega, the multi-camera comedy is in fast-track development at Nickelodeon, with early casting getting underway, sources tell Deadline.

Produced by Nickelodeon, Hollywood Arts follows Trina returning to her old stomping grounds as the newest teacher at Hollywood’s most elite performing arts school.

Monet serves as an executive producer alongside writers/executive producers Jake Farrow — who was a writer-producer on both Victorious and offshoot Sam & Cat and also voiced Robbie’s puppet Rex Powers on Victorious — and Samantha Martin (Nick’s Henry Danger and The Fairly OddParents: Fairly Odder).

Victorious creator Dan Schneider, who parted ways with Nickelodeon in 2018, has no involvement in the spinoff. His Nick tenure has been under scrutiny, including in the docuseries Quiet On Set whose producers he is suing for defamation.

In recent years, it’s been a popular trend to cast a well-known star as the host of a game show, especially a new one. Often, this has been seen as a way to garner good ratings and get people interested in the show. However, Fox First Run has recently announced the end of two of their star-studded game shows.

In a carriage battle about pay TV’s future, one of the original cable channels became an unexpected flashpoint.

Freeform, the Disney-owned cable channel that caters to younger women, was dropped from Spectrum channel lineups as part of Disney’s landmark deal with Charter Communications. It was no small decision, with Freeform in some 74 million homes at the end of last year, and with Charter’s nearly 15 million cable TV households no longer having access.

“When we looked across the portfolio to try to identify where the greatest value in this deal was to us, we definitely made some trade-offs,” Disney Entertainment co-chairman Dana Walden told The Hollywood Reporter after the Spectrum deal was announced. She noted that channels like Freeform already served as a pipeline of programming for streaming services like Hulu.

Fox First Run is set to launch Person, Place or Thing game show, hosted by Melissa Peterman, this fall on Fox Television Stations following a successful four-week test run last summer. The half-hour weekday show has been sold across 89% of the U.S. in 161 markets from various station groups, including Sinclair, Nexstar, Scripps and Tegna, according to Fox First Run.

Person, Place, or Thing is a game where players ask “yes” or “no” questions to correctly determine the identity of a person, place, or thing. Created by Jeff Proctor and Paul Franklin, the game show intersperses comedy with common knowledge to hold audiences’ attention for a fast paced 30 minutes. Proctor, Franklin, and Peterman serve as executive producers, along with Tracy Verna and David Hurwitz.

Fremantle, the production unit of Bertelsmann-owned TV giant Rtl Group, has made a strategic minority investment in Artists, Writers & Artisans (Awa), an independent developer of stories from creative talent working across graphic fiction, film and television.

James Murdoch’s investment firm Lupa Systems, an existing Awa backer, co-led the new financial injection, which also included new capital from long-term Awa backers and “a number of strategic individual investors with expertise in production, finance, sports, human rights and technology,” the company said. Disney+’s upcoming comedy series The Muppets Mayhem has added Tahj Mowry (Baby Daddy) to the cast, Deadline has confirmed. He will star opposite Lilly Singh for the series developed and written by The Goldbergs creator Adam F. Goldberg, Muppets vets Bill Barretta and Jeff Yorkes.

The Muppets Mayhem follows The Electric Mayhem Band as they go on an epic musical journey to finally record their first studio album.

Goldberg, Barretta, Michael Bostick and Kris Eber executive produce; Yorkes is a co-executive producer. The Muppets Studio’s David Lightbody and Leigh Slaughter are also executive producers.
