El reparto de esta nueva temporada está formado por Michele Austin (Hard Truths), Ben Bailey Smith (David Brent: Life on the Road), Asim Chaudhry (People Just Do Nothing), Josh Finan (Say Nothing), James Nelson-Joyce (The Outlaws), Will Poulter (Guardianes de la galaxia Vol. 3...

Nearly two years have passed since Netflix debuted a new season of Black Mirror, even if it feels like much longer. The streamer has finally unveiled a trailer and new images for the upcoming seventh season, along with announcing an April 10, 2025 premiere date.
“You can expect a mix of genres and styles,” stated series creator Charlie Brooker during the 2024 Geeked Week festival. “We’ve got six episodes this time, and two of them are basically feature-length. Some of them are deeply unpleasant, some are quite funny, and some are emotional.”
Among them is the much-anticipated sequel to one of Black Mirror‘s most popular, critically acclaimed episodes, season four’s “USS Callister.” The sequel marks the first time Brooker has ever revisited any of the previous six seasons’ episodes.

A seventh season of the anthology series Black Mirror will be making its way to the Netflix streaming service this year, and it has been previously revealed that Black Mirror season 7 will consist of six episodes, one of which will be a sequel to the popular season 4 episode USS Callister. The streamer has now revealed new images from the season, along with a trailer. It has also been announced that the new episodes will premiere on April 10.

Please try to enjoy each fan podcast equally, and do not show preference only for positive reviews.
As the official prestige mystery box show of the 2020s, Severance is getting the modern version of the same treatment that predecessors like Lost and Westworld received regarding the rampant and unfounded fan speculation about what’s really going on at Lumon Industries. In an an age when seemingly everyone on the internet has a podcast about their favorite TV show (including Severance director Ben Stiller and his star Adam Scott), it’s only natural that the series that deliberately asks more questions than it offers answers would have a thriving ecosystem of discussion podcasts for fans to fill the days in between episode drops and years between seasons.

Because the world does not feel dystopian enough, “Black Mirror” is finally releasing its Season 7 premiere date. The sci-fi anthology from Charlie Brooker will return on April 10 with six new episodes.
This new season will contain a previously announced followup to the Emmy-winning “USS Callister” starring Cristin Milioti. Fittingly, the trailer for this new season starts with Milioti’s Lieutenant Cole gasping as an unseen voice says “We’d like to welcome you back.”
The trailer then cycles between clips of wild scenarios that are never fully explained. One minute, a man is putting on a Batman mask. The next, Issa Rae is being transported into a black-and-white world filled with AI people. Still the next, Rashida Jones collapses like a powered off robot while pitching cereal in front of a class of children. You know, classic “Black Mirror” stuff.
But the most exciting part of this first trailer does...

Every choice has consequences. After two years of a highly anticipated wait, the record-breaking Emmy award winning HBO series The Last of Us returns.
Season 2 picks up five years after the events of the first season, which saw Joel (Pedro Pascal) massacre a team of doctors who were hoping to cure civilization from the zombie-like disease ravaging the surviving population. The only problem with this plan is that the cost of a potential vaccine came at the expense of fatally experimenting on the mysteriously immune Ellie (Bella Ramsey)—a price Joel wasn’t willing to pay. Now, as a result of their respective actions while searching for safety, Joel and Ellie will be forced to face repercussions from their individual pasts.
Some new faces will appear in Season 2 of The Last of Us, all of whom are from the video game. Kaitlyn Dever, Isabela Merced, Tati Gabrielle and more will bring these characters to life.

Once upon a time, TV storytelling was a one-way street.
Writers wrote, networks aired, and fans watched. That’s it.
But social media came along and flipped the script, turning television into an interactive experience where fans have a real say in what happens on their favorite shows.
(Michaels/Sony/NBC)
Whether it’s saving a canceled series, influencing character arcs, or completely shifting the direction of a story, social media has made TV more of a collaboration than ever before.
But is that always a good thing? Let’s dig in.

Aaron Paul, who joined HBO's hit series Westworldin season 3, still hopes for a final season despite the series' cancellation. In 2022, HBO cancelled the Western series abruptly after season 4 due to declining ratings, leaving the series ending on an ambiguous note with plenty of unanswered questions about the oncoming human extinction. The Breaking Bad star plays Caleb Nichols, a war veteran and blue-collar worker infected by the flies at the Delos labs.
In an interview with Collider, Paul expresses his hope for Westwold's return. While trying not to spoil too much, the actor reveals that he's still "holding onto the idea" that the series will receive a proper ending. He shares that he knows where the story goes, and "it's really cool," and urges fans to wait out a little and see. Check out what he said below:

In a parking lot on Victory Boulevard in North Hollywood, a nuclear wasteland has been created. Wrecked RVs, rusting cars and half-dead palm trees line the sand, all surrounding a twisted version of Nevada’s most famous neon sign.
This is the set of Amazon’s upcoming second season of “Fallout,” the Emmy-nominated hit adaptation of the Bethesda video game series. Fans of the show are eagerly waiting to see how Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet’s show adapts the 2010 video game “Fallout: New Vegas,” which transforms Sin City into an apocalyptic citadel.
When those episodes air, they will see a New Vegas that was brought to life in California, a creation of local Hollywood magic that is becoming increasingly rare and which “Fallout” producer Jonathan Nolan warns will go extinct if the California Film and TV Tax Credit Program doesn’t get a sufficient overhaul in the next few months.

Classic Hollywood star Ingrid Bergman once said, "A kiss is a lovely trick designed by nature to stop speech when words become superfluous." The Swedish actress knows a thing or two about the power of a kiss, as she was one half of one of the most iconic kisses in cinematic history when she and Humphrey Bogart starred in "Casablanca." However, as powerful as a kiss can be, sometimes the act of kissing may be a bridge too far for an actor behind a given character.
Regardless of what a script says a character is meant to do, sometimes there are certain things that an actor will refuse to do. For whatever reason, they may decide that they don't want to do their own stunts or have any nude scenes, as tasteful as they might. And there have been plenty of instances where stars have chosen not to participate in kissing scenes as well.

Can Apple TV+'s Severance or HBO's The Last of Us win Best Drama Series? For most of Emmy history, the answer to that question would be no. That's because they're science-fiction shows, which have historically been under-appreciated by voters and thus underrepresented at the Emmys. Only one sci-fi show has ever won Best Drama Series: Lost in 2005. That was 20 years ago, but the TV Academy has changed drastically in the intervening years.
Some of the most beloved shows in TV history are sci-fi or fantasy, including Star Trek and Doctor Who that have been around for almost as long as TV has existed. But Emmy winners for drama series usually follow real-world professionals like doctors, lawyers, and police officers. Even as those procedural genres started falling out of fashion in the 21st century, the subjects that replaced them were still couched in reality: politics (The West Wing), organized crime,...

Consider Phlebas is the first sci-fi book written by author Iain M. Banks. It's the first book in his classic sci-fi series The Culture, about a post-scarcity civilization — called the Culture — controlled by powerful artificial intelligences. Consider Phlebas drills down on a war between the Culture and the Idiran Empire, an expansionist empire dominated by religion. When a Culture Mind — a powerful AI — takes refuge on a distant planet, agents from both the Culture and the Idiran empire are sent to retrieve it.
Per Deadline, Prime Video is now adapting Consider Phlebas — which gets its title from T. S. Eliot's poem The Waste Land, if you're wondering — for TV. Author Charles Yu, who served as showrunner on the Hulu series Interior Chinatown in addition to writing on shows like Westworld, will be heading up the new series. Among the executive producers is Chloé Zhao, who won a Best Director Oscar for her film Nomadland.

Interior Chinatown creator Charles Yu is writing and executive producing. The potential series also is executive produced by Nomadland Oscar winner Chloé Zhao through her production company Books of Shadows, Dede Gardner and Jeremy Kleiner for Plan B Entertainment as well as Adele Banks.
In Consider Phlebas, while war rages between the utopian Culture and the Idiran Empire, a Culture Ship AI “Mind” takes refuge on a forbidden planet. Both Horza, a shape-shifting mercenary working for the Idirans, and Balveda, a “Special Circumstances” Culture agent, have been tasked with retrieving it to tip the balance in a galaxy-spanning conflict. Consider Phlebas pits sentience against AI in an epic and bloody quest across the cosmos.

“1923” has returned.
Taylor Sheridan’s “Yellowstone” prequel series, which followed “1883,” first premiered back in December 2022. By comparison, that was around when “Avatar: The Way of Water” hit theaters. That feels like an eon ago, right? But the point is: it’s back and we are very excited.
But if you have never watched “1923” or if it’s been a while, let us help refresh things with a recap of the cast and characters from the series. Ready to head back to the ranch?

One of the hottest TV shows on right now is Severance. The Apple TV+ drama has become a critical darling and fan favorite thanks to its unique setup. It revolves around the employees of a mysterious corporation who endure the daily grind of a soulless office job. The twist is that whenever they leave the office, they completely forget who they were and what they were doing. As their two personas blur, they have to figure out the truth about their double lives.
It's fascinating to watch actors change their "innie" to "outie" characters. Severance is mainly a drama, but it also sneaks in a lot of humor as it satirizes the bleakness of modern corporate life.
There are a lot of shows and movies like Severance out there. If you love Severance, you have to try these 10 shows and five movies with the same style and feel.

Over the years, gaming adaptations have always attracted poor reception, but that wasn’t the case with Amazon Prime Video’s Fallout TV show. Seriously, no one in their wildest dreams could’ve predicted the show to be such a massive success.
Prime Video’s Fallout is not just a typical game-to-tv adaptation. (Image via Prime Video)
Jonathan Nolan was the creative force behind the Fallout series, and that definitely helped the show achieve critical acclaim. Before venturing into Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic world, Nolan had already worked on a sci-fi epic that was inspired by the Elder Scrolls and Red Redemption, which allowed him to perfect the Fallout series.

When it comes to Westerns on the small screen, few are as iconic as Norman Macdonnell and John Meston's "Gunsmoke." Based on the radio drama of the same name, the show debuted on CBS in 1955 and went on to become one of the longest-running television scripted series in American television history, producing over 600 episodes. Sadly, though, "Gunsmoke" rode off into the sunset after 20 seasons, but like all good gunslingers who can't stay down, it came back with a bang. "Gunsmoke" produced five television films after the series ended, and thanks to reruns and streaming, new generations continue to discover the classic TV Western.
"Gunsmoke" takes place in Dodge City, Kansas, and follows U.S. Marshal Matt Dillon (James Arness) and his deputies as they protect the town from outlaws, outsiders, troublemakers, and other wrong sorts. For a brief, shining moment in the late 2000s and early 2010s, we were living in a golden age for prestige television. But in recent years, the bloom has definitely gone a bit off the rose, as streamers competing with each other become more risk-averse and heavily dependent on cheap, reliable standards. There are still great shows out there, of course, but there are fewer of the magnitude that cause a massive segment of viewers across all demographics to sit up and take notice. One of these recent series was "Shogun," a massive hit for Hulu that won over audiences and cleaned up at the Emmy Awards, taking home an astonishing 18 trophies for its first season. In a world where shows are being cancelled left and right, "Shogun" has already been renewed for both a second and third season.

One of the oddest movie marketing campaigns of all time rolls on with another unconventional announcement from Sony’s upcoming Anaconda, a project that’s all around hard to get a clear handle on. Arriving in theaters December 25, 2025, the franchise reboot is clearly taking a more comedic approach to the material, with Jack Black and Paul Rudd starring.
This latest video features Jack Black performing a Tenacious D-style song to officially announce the main cast of Anaconda, which also includes Thandiwe Newton (“Westworld”), Steve Zahn (“Silo,” Joy Ride), Brazilian actor Selton Mello, and Daniela Melchior.
Ione Skye, we recently learned, will also star in the new movie.
In Anaconda‘s big screen return, “a group of friends facing mid-life crises are remaking their favorite movie from their youth. They head to the rainforest, only to find themselves in a fight for their lives against natural disasters, giant snakes, and violent criminals.

Four and a half years ago, Sony’s Columbia Pictures announced that they were developing a reboot / reimagining of the 1997 “nature run amok” thriller Anaconda (watch it Here), with the intention of “taking what was a simple and relatively cheap programmer with a B-movie concept and event-izing it in scope and budget.” Back in 2023, we heard that Tom Gormican would be writing and directing the film as his follow-up to the well-received action comedy The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent. Now, Gormican’s Anaconda reboot, which takes a meta approach, is in production with a cast that includes Jack Black (School of Rock), Paul Rudd (Ant-Man), Thandiwe Newton (Westworld), Daniela Melchior (The Suicide Squad), Steve Zahn (Joy Ride), Selton Mello (Bury Your Dead), and Ione Skye (Zodiac). During some downtime on set, Black, Rudd, and Mello decided to come up with a song that confirms most of the casting announcements,...

HBO’s Westworld had a record viewership in its debut season before plummeting into a complete disaster over the last two seasons. The series was set at the titular futuristic theme park, where human guests indulged in their wildest fantasies without fear of retaliation from android hosts. James Marsden played one of the hosts, Teddy Flood, who was designed as a romantic hero by the creators, Delos Inc.

While the ensemble cast in the first season of the show received widespread acclaim, one of the overlooked performances was that of Marsden. However, fans now largely recognize that the good-natured cowboy design of Marsden’s character was a genius move from Westworld makers.

Stars: Sophie Thatcher, Jack Quaid, Lukas Gage, Megan Suri, Harvey Guillén, Rupert Friend | Written and Directed by Drew Hancock
Written and directed by Drew Hancock, this deliciously dark horror is produced by the team behind Barbarian, which should tell you something about the number of twists to expect. In fact, on that note, if you have somehow made it this far without actually knowing what Companion is about, then you should definitely stop reading now and go in as cold as you can, for maximum enjoyment.
Still here? Okay then, but be warned that the main twist occurs around 24 minutes into the movie and is essentially the basis of the plot from that point on. It’s clear that the filmmakers intended that reveal to be a surprise to the audience, but clearly the marketing department had other ideas, much like the publicity for Terminator 2: Judgement Day completely...

You do not want to read this review of Companion. Trust us.
We only say this because writer-director Drew Hancock’s movie relies on more than a few secrets, and even though the film’s trailer more or less gives away a big one, we’re not keen on spoiling them just yeat. (It’s perfectly safe to watch the teaser below, however.) What we can say, without fear of enraging folks keen on experiencing the film as it unfolds one “whoa!” at a time, is that everything starts with...

Exclusive: Aurora Perrineau (Prodigal Son) has been tapped for an undisclosed role in Angels in the Asylum, an upcoming indie drama marking the feature debut of writer-director Rob Sorrenti.
Perrineau joins an ensemble which also includes Katherine Waterston, Simon Pegg, Minnie Driver, Cush Jumbo, Rose Williams and Miriam Margolyes, as previously announced.
Inspired by a BBC Newsnight exposé, the film tells the untold story of 50 women who were forcibly confined in isolation at Surrey’s Long Grove Asylum. Beginning in 1907, these women — deemed typhoid carriers — were imprisoned in the former psychiatric hospital, their lives shaped by fear, stigma, and medical injustice. Pic explores their struggle for freedom and dignity in the face of a system that saw them as threats rather than individuals, shedding light on a dark chapter in medical history.
Heather Greenwood, Marie-Elena Dyche and Charlotte Carey are producing the pic, currently shooting in the UK, with Parkland Pictures handling sales.
