    ok...
If made by a highschool film and media class, among proffesionals its like robbing a bloodbank in bombay.skip this film after 5 mins. and figure out your own end to the story.b.r. the grumpy old man
  • Warning: Spoilers
But the plot never came together.

Men verses women? Ghostly possessions? Cursed land due to witch burnings in the 1700s? Psycho offspring brainwashed by footage from the father's unfinished film? Revenge for the death of an actress that happened 20 years earlier? disgruntled actors killing their directors for doing a crappy job?

    I Donno.

I watched the whole thing and I have no idea why most of these people were killed. In some deaths it's never clearly revealed who committed the murder, although they do implicate one person multiple times.

And what happened to the rest of the films cast?

There were lots of people attending this film festival but the body count was relatively low so what happened to them? Did they die off screen? Escape? Go canoeing on the lake?

The film ends with more questions than answers.

P.S. A lot of time is wasted watching the footage of the unfinished film of the director that the festival was named for and the new films being made at the festival rather than focusing on the actual plot of this movie.
  • Slow boring movie, predictable and corny at best. Still can't believe I let this movie continue after the first 5 minutes

    Warning: Spoilers
I still can't figure out what the hell was going on. It seemed that rosemary was a serial killer that manipulated some of the murders and others she did herself. By the end I didn't even care, mostly because the ending was the worst. Production values seemed pretty good for such a terrible film, like that ever matters in hollywood. Acting was pretty good, the story just was too random to make sense. It had potential I suppose, though cliched. It's like 3/4 of the way through they just gave up and couldn't figure out how to put the pieces together in a coherent sensiical way.

Boring snooze fest, with bad A/V. Could've made a better made a better movie with my phone.
  • This Movies Real To Life Female Characters Make This Movie As Hard To Watch As Life Is To Live In 2023. LOL!

Plot: a Crew Made Up Of Mostly Women, Go Off To Make Terrible Short Films, While Accidents Happen and Women CONSTANTLY Cry and Prove Why Society Has Come To a Full Stop, With Non-Stop Feeling Overloads and Getting Offended At Nothing. And Then Some Real Deaths Happen and The Women Make Crap Up and Over React.

This Movie Would've Been Ok, If It Had Even ONE Intelligent Female Character. But, Then The Final Act Couldn't Happen. YAY! Modern Writing.

Save Time and Go To a Feminist Rally, There Will Be More Common Sense There and The Same Women. LOL!

    Awful
Only positive is some of the female leads seem like they have some talent. I feel embarrassed for them. This is just awful trash. Was half paying attention and it fully hurt my brain. So many problems with this, first off, NINE Directors? People flub lines and stammer at times, was that the best take available? It was trying to be something it couldn't possibly have achieved. It's got slasher in the title yet no slashing until over an hour in. It's way too long, way to convoluted. Please don't waste your time like I did. I watched for free and would still like my money back....avoid!

This was one of the biggest snoozefest films I have seen in a while. A bunch of would be filmmakers and actors/actresses at a 'festival' for a lost film, all wanting to create a new film for a bunch of money...i think, but don't really care.

A bunch of pieces of would be films centered around a piece of an old partial film is as you would expect, really confusing. When you consider that all of them are bad, the actors are worse and there may or may not be a ghost really blends the bull in the the crapomatic machine.

My husband and I kept asking if it was over yet? The plot holes are bigger than an aircraft carrier (if you manage to figure out any form of a plot). Basically it ends up being the girls vs boys but that means nothing.

    Do not waste your time.

Is it so hard to find attractive people for movies these days? I can see busted looking individuals in real life. Anyways, this was a drag. Thankfully the leading females were easy to look at, even if they couldn't act. It felt like I was watching a man vs woman film. I'm a guy and even I felt the sexism was a bit much. They call this a slasher, yet no one has been slashed yet and I'm an hour in. This is more like a bad sleepaway camp movie, except those were at least enjoyable.

This movie has an interesting enough premise that has some potential. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. Sleepaway Slashers falls apart quickly due to poor writing, bad acting, annoying characters, and a silly plot. I cannot think of a single performance of note or a character I was actually rooting for. There were a few moments of practical effects that were decent but they were brief and far between. By the end of this thing, you will wish you were on fire as well.
  • Ok, it starts slow and it is very low budget. Turns out to be a lot of nasty fun though. It has the feel of an 80s slasher meets a modern meta horror. Good for what it is.
  • I watched the whole thing but I have no idea what the actual plot was. It seemed like they blended 5 different short films into one movie. The last 15 minutes especially take a hard left turn. A few of the actors and actresses look similar and have similar personalities which only furthered my confusion in keeping track of who was who.

Some of the acting isn't bad, some is. Some good effects, some not. There's no actual slashing until the end.

I'm not sure if this was supposed to be some type of homage or a satire about independent film making or an actual horror movie. It's not even bad in a way that makes it fun to watch.
  • I actually like this movie until the end and the end just stopped. I had to take points away for the ending. Other than the end I liked it, it turned out to be the men v. the women. I didn't think it was boring, oh well, everyone deserves their opinions. I liked it, maybe you won't.

This may have been one of the worst things I've seen in all my years watching horror movies. The story was everywhere and nowhere at the same time. Stay far away from this trash. You can definitely tell it was final project film rubbish and all of the people that worked on this movie should feel ashamed for making it. The worst part is, is how meta they wanted to make it. Also, go a little less heavy on raising your blacks and shadows up and trying to give it a beginner's photography portfolio for bad wedding pics. Contrast is your friend, editor. Maybe the gaffer was off getting wasted and they had no real lighting to use. Whatever, stay away from this.
