Serial killer Israel Keyes will take center-stage in a new television series adapted from Maureen Callahan's non-fiction true crime book American Predator: The Hunt for the Most Meticulous Serial Killer of the 21st Century.

Deadline reports that the upcoming adaptation will be helmed by Scott Rosenbaum, who previously acted as showrunner for the USA Network's hit series Queen of the South, also based on a true story. No further creative details have been revealed about the series yet, except that Canadian producer Neshama Entertainment will produce the series and it will be distributed by Fox Entertainment Global. Serial killer Israel Keyes will be the subject of a new TV series, with Maureen Callahan‘s American Predator: The Hunt for the Most Meticulous Serial Killer of the 21st Century serving as the source material.

Deadline reports that “Queen of the South” showrunner Scott Rosenbaum is adapting the true crime book.

Keyes is known to have murdered at least three people between 2001 and his arrest in 2012 and is suspected of killing at least eight others across the U.S. He was also a bank robber, burglar, arsonist, kidnapper, and sex offender. He died by suicide while awaiting trial at the age of 34.

Keyes’ scrupulous modus operandi included flying to a city, renting a car, and breaking into a stranger’s house. He would then abduct his victims, kill them, and dispose of their bodies before returning home to Alaska to resume his life as a construction worker devoted to his only daughter.

Per Entertainment Weekly, Katt's death was confirmed by his attorney, John Sloss. However, no circumstances related to the cause were divulged. He was 54 years old.

A former child star born in 1970, Katt had started his career in show business early. In the early 80s, he was appearing in popular TV shows like Fantasy Island, CHiPs, Father Murphy, Herbie, the Love Bug, Trapper John, M.D., and V, among others. In 1984, he landed one of his first movie roles as a schoolchild shown in the beloved horror-comedy movie Gremlins. He'd follow this up wiht a role in Tom Hanks' The 'Burbs in 1989, soon after picking up roles in Martians Go Home, and Sister Act.

Every main character in a Yu-Gi-Oh!anime inevitably winds up the favorite of many. Unfortunately, this often leads to disappointment. Rather notoriously, major Yu-Gi-Oh! characters are frequently victims of gross mistreatment, especially during the Studio Gallop era. No Yu-Gi-Oh! anime is perfect, and poor writing decisions often lean to characters being mishandled.

Main cast members will sometimes barely win duels. In other cases, they'll receive next to no character development, and either be given weak resolutions to their stories, or not be given any closure at all. Some characters barely even feel like core cast members, with the main girl in each series almost always being shoved to the sidelines. While unfortunate, this is the state of most series in the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise.

Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc V was the first entry in the franchise to introduce the Four Dimensions, the shonen anime's take on alternate or multi-dimensions. The Four Dimensions are four different dimensions that use a different Extra Deck Special Summoning method, meaning in one universe, they use Fusion to summon monsters; in another, they use Synchro; and in another, they use Xyz. These different focuses on summoning methods call back to the four previous entries in the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise.

The Four Dimensions are the setting for the initial conflict in the series, as protagonist Yuya Sakaki and deuteragonist Zuzu Boyle's counterparts start the series' main story. Each Dimension has a Yuya and a Zuzu, with the titles of Dragon Boy and Bracelet Girl to reference their original incarnations as Zarc and Ray Akaba. The four dimensions are broken down into: the Fusion Dimension, the Synchro Dimension, the Xyz Dimension, and the Standard Dimension.
