  • Why dont they play the videos from beginning to end without stopping every 3 or 4 seconds and repeating over and over. Its monotonous. It would be a good show but you need new editors.
  • Content is great with two segments in about 21 minutes. However, within those two segments they repeat the visuals over and over. They treat their audience like football players when they review game film time after time. Video is limited so the repeat button is on way too much. If it doesn't sound good then it will work for you guys to be a part time student and have some fun. (FILL IN STUFF not pertinent...Arnold schwarzenegger and a great as well and a great as well and will make it a little more convenient to me and then we will go to the fact that you are the best and I will make sure you are the one to give )

Enjoy if you can 10 for content, 1 for editing.

They show the same clip over and over with really adding nothing to the description. They also give unrelated history leading up to the actual crime shown. We watched one and a half episodes and turned it off.
  • The show keeps showing the same clip over and over and over before proceeding. Very annoying! Difficult to watch. I watched for a few minutes and switched to City Confidential.
  • People saying the clips keep going on "repeat" throughout the show....well yeah! Usually the footage caught on camera is only a few seconds, so they don't have much to work with. But they want to keep the viewer engaged, and make sure the viewer is still reacting to what's happening. The real purpose of the show is not to show the clips, but the interviews with the victims and other people involved to get their perspective on what happened. Taking all that into consideration, it's not a bad show. It's not perfect either, but the bad ratings here are just over the top and unfair.
  • The show is 85% repeated clips and commentary.

It is hilarious listening to behavior "experts" comment on the videos self importantly stating the obvious.

There is better stuff on YouTube.
  • I agree with the others who said this could've been a good show if the editing weren't so awful.

This show is bad! The video clips are shown in small segments over and over and over again. Also has the annoying presence of Talking heads giving useless commentary. All I want to see is the clips from start to finish without the padding!
  • Bad editing with repeating the videoes again and again 5-6 times, I believe the viewers got it the first time. Narrator keep on telling what is actually happening multiple times to a point that it's getting annoying. It's just boring and a waste of time to watch this Tv serie.

This could be a good show, but they show 2 crimes per episode and drag it out so much to where they have to repeat scenes at least 5 times. It's losing viewers fast! We watched the first two episodes and deleted the series. Had to fast forward through most of it. Also, too many interviews with unrelated psychologists. Makes no sense. Surely they can find more crimes per episode and take out all the useless interviews and repeated scenes.
  • Get rid of the narcisistic asian lady in the studio with her instruments. Shes a full blown narcisist. Dont need even more of them on tv, its what kills the ratings truly.

As others stated same video show over and over and commentary is obvious and useless. What made this program lose its favor with me was episode 7 season 1. I have seen this in various forms at least twice before on other programs. The taxi driver segment is well known and the gun the bad guy has is fake and they did not mention it once. Not even the commentators mentioned it. It's not fake but editing is highly miss leading. ID just regurgitating the same vedio from other shows with horrible editing and twisting of facts to make this show more interesting than it really is. Don't waist your time.

    Warning: Spoilers
Most of ID channels shows are entertaining. Some of the crimes here are interesting, however..... As other user reviews mention, they seem to work with minimum footage of the incidents and then flash to boring analysis or retelling. I recall one expert saying something like "there could've been crazy bloodshed". Yea no s**t. Most of us are ID addicts we expect that. This show repeats 10 seconds of footage at least 5times during an episode. Normally I don't even care to review murder shows but this was so bad. They squeeze two events into each episode and I find myself skipping ahead only to be further disappointed. I just decided that I'd rather see if there were any reviews to support my impression. Clearly there are.
  • In S4:E11, you show a clip where a teenager steals a police cruiser and crashed through a cemetary trying to escape. He injures two policemen in he process. You spend ten minutes replaying the attempted escape at least twenty times, and have three or four people commenting on how horrible and dangerous it is, but you never tell what happened to the perpetrator!!!! Did he go to jail, did they just slap his hand and let him go??? It was nice to hear the philosophizing, but use a little common sense, PLEASE! Don't you think we want to know how it ended? Who in the world edits and approves these things??

This show is really the worst on television with their clips constantly on repeat and the shows "experts" spewing out very obvious information.

Not only are the commenters wasting our time with pointless info, most of what they're saying is just flat out assumptions on what is happening before, during and even after the crime takes place.

One of the useless talking heads is a ex police officer who was on the reality tv show, big brother, who had actually won that show. He's a dmart guy. What is he doing here speaking such nonsense on these played out viral clips. Is he following a dumbed down script?
  • Omg...judith joseph, l o l! These guys think they are these HUGELY intelligent superstars, lol! They add 0 to the obvious story line by thinking we're going to be hanging on the edge of their seats for this petty, redundant, boring garbage..But I think my fav part is that most of them are NEVER identified/caught..good job cops! I guess if the taxpayers paid their salaries they would take crime a little more serious instead of hanging with teenage girls...oh wait.... WE DO! Ugh..i had this whole series recorded lol! After the 3rd show I deleted all and got back to my book war and peace. Go elsewhere! (rolling eyes)

    Warning: Spoilers
As others have said, the editing is terrible. I actually watched the first 3 episodes and thought it was pretty bad editing, but for some reason I kept watching. I got to the 4th episode, which covers a man who stole a phone from a kickboxing instructor. He tries to take off on a bicycle, but she grabs him and gets her phone back. That's literally all that happens.

They keep showing an interview with a witness who is in her class who talks about the "beatdown" she gave this criminal. I'm thinking, okay let's see the beatdown. So far all I've seen is her grab him and get her phone back, which is about a 5 second clip they show about 100 times. Somehow they filled a 30 minute episode with a 5 second clip combined with dramatic interviews and narrating. Finally, they show the rest of the video footage, but nothing happens. They just let the guy ride away on his bike. This entire incident at this kickboxing studio was something a lot of people probably saw covered on a 1 minute local news segment if you live in that area. It wasn't eventful enough to spend more than 1 or 2 minutes on it, but yet this show stretched it to 30 minutes. I understand that it went viral, but something going viral doesn't take much. It just means a lot of people watched the short clip while scrolling on social media and gave it a like and maybe a comment, then moved on to something else. It definitely didn't warrant being the subject of an entire true crime episode.

I was done watching this show after that. I can't believe I made it through 4 episodes. It could have been a good show if they covered multiple viral videos in each episode and showed each one in their entirety the first time. Instead, they chose to show bits and pieces over and over for dramatic effect, but all that does is frustrate and annoy the viewer. I watched this on Max with no commercials, which is probably the only reason I made it through 4 episodes. You can tell this show was made to have commercials by the way it drags on, hoping the viewer will stick around and watch the commercials so they can finally see the entire outcome they keep teasing. I give it 1 star, but if I had to watch this garbage with commercials I would give it zero stars if possible.
