  • From IMDB: "Hotshot lawyer Choi Kang Seok is known as the most talented closer at the prestigious Kang and Ham Law Firm. Go Yeon Woo has a photographic memory and a high IQ. Having dreamed of becoming an Attorney."

Creator: Aaron Korsh Stars: Jang Dong-Gun, Park Hyung-Sik, Gwi-hwa Choi .

16 One Hour Episodes based on the noted CBS drama of the same name. (The US/Canadian version had Meghan Markle in it.)

Oh what a tangled web we weave... Best law firm 'Kang & Ham' brings in a young genius (with a Photographic Memory) to work with their 'Ace.' Only one problem... a BIG one at that. Watch and see.

Add in the usual feuding Partners, jealous co-workers, scheming ex-Partner, corrupt Prosecutors, hot girls - and you have yourself a Korean TeleNovella.

I have to say that IMO the acting was superb, good episodic storyline and well worth your time, without any gratuitous sex and violence. Recommended.

Good series! It will make you think and would want some more in every end of the episode. I so love Park Hyung Sik here. 😍

Been watching a bunch of K-Dramas on Netflix recently and this was recommended to me. Storyline and set up was interesting enough for me to finish it. Only thing I wasn't too fond of was the forced romance with the main character since it was was set up so early in the show, didn't feel it was appropriate given his high stake position and the secrecy he had to maintain. Otherwise superb acting among the cast .
  • This version of the U.S. drama is very good. The acting is good, even if you have seen the story line before. I watched the series in a matter of days because it held my interest to see the next episode. My hope is there will be a season 2. This series had some great villians. Definitely worth watching.
  • This is a remake of the US version, not a ripoff. Don't get mad at this Korean Network for stealing ideas, because they didn't.
  • Overall, loved this series. The acting is great and keeps you hooked. From my understanding, and a quick Google search, they bought the rights to this show. So, no stealing took place. They did a great job with this remake of the series, and I hope for a season 2.

Hyung-shik Park, Hyung-shik Park, Hyung-shik Park! This young man is and always will be my King; kudos to his acting in Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth. He was just an intense in Suits even though it was a much, different role. He has the ability to go from serious to humorous, confused to comforting, innocent to sexy. And the story line was great. The character development was great. Loved it from beginning to end.

Suits (2018) is a sophisticated yet enjoyable Kdrama. Although the drama focuses primarily on two male lead characters, the plot will not bore you! Suits is full of unusual cases that give you a taste of what it's like to work in a law firm!

Park Hyung-Sik is, without a doubt, the best actor in this series. Not only because he is gorgeous, but also because he was able to contribute to the series brilliance. Also Jang Dong-gun and Hyun-Sik, playing the roles of senior and associate lawyers, are as badass as no one else. The chemistry between these two amazing actors is, in fact, amazing.

I think the most important factor why I got hooked is it doesn't give away everything. It makes you think. It makes you wonder how they're going to solve the case. At some point, it makes you question society.

Another thing I loved was that unlike many Korean series, which portray women as naive, stupid, and so on, this one featured a lot of empowered women.

The drama also instilled important moral values in us, such as accepting the consequences of our mistakes, being honest about who we truly are, and remembering that no matter how small or large the mistakes, there will always be consequences for them. Overall, the drama is highly recommended to watch, especially for those who enjoy legal dramas.

Suits is Park Hyung Siks show all the way. HE IS BRILLIANT as Go Yeon Woo. Right from his super cool first scene at the club till the last episode where your heart breaks for him, ( he made me tear up, just with his expressions, when he talks to his grandmom ) he is AMAZING. He is so sexy when he is spewing legal jargon, so cool when he is teaming up with Jang Dong Guns character Choi Kang Sik, totally adorable when he is being a boyfriend, the way he shows his love for his grandmom, you would think it is his grandmom in real life. He is just BRILLIANT.

The lengthy dialogues must not have been easy. But he did it. He seems natural as a genius

Of course this show deserves a 10 because everything works. The bromance, the other actors, especially the music. It is all just great

If there is a chance of season 2 and we get to see more of Go Yeon Woo and Choi Kang Suk it will be awesome.

This show is a definite must watch.

Compared to the US shoes, this is boring. The casting seems to be totally wrong. The characters are all dull and doesn't have the energy or the screen presence of the US counterparts.
  • This is could be a korian version of Suits that broadcast in usa network . entire plot looks like season 1 episode 1
  • It's very rare that a remake can be in par or better than the original. To me 'Syucheu' or Korean Suits is way better. It's the bomb.

Jang Dong Gun and Park Hyung Sik are perfect as the hotshot lawyers of Kang and Ham firm. They're so cool. So stylish and suave. They both have their own style and are not carbon copies of the original.

The music, the fashion, the sets, the supporting cast are all so good. Truly can't find any faults in this show. Well maybe one. 16 episodes of this goodness is just not enough.
  • 10/10 to the Korean team of Suits for giving us a fabulous show. The original is well known. And the korean team have made this in their own style. And it's great

Casting is perfect. Park Hyung Sik and Jang Dong Gun really are the heart of the show like Harvey and Michael in the original.

Special shout-out to Hyung Sik introduction scene in the club. Phew. The music. The slow motion. So stylish and so so sexy

If you've watched the Original version of Suits. Then watch this. You will see they have done full justice to it.

If you haven't watched the original version, great, watch this. You will love it.
  • This is a decent drama that worth praising. There are lots of lawyer dramas. The plot is not outstanding, but at least above standard. Plus the superb acting of the leads, it worths a score of 9.

I cannot deny that I am addicted to the acting of Jang. He is very handsome and smart, at his age. The role of a senior lawyer is kind of like tailored made for him. His acting skill is applied to the full.

Just cannot figure out why I am the first to review for such a good drama, and many other Asian dramas. Hope dramas from Asia could have attention that they should deserve.
  • I tried to watch American Suits 5 times. I have no patience for it. All of the characters are annoying. I discovered K-shows about a year ago on Netflix. "A Korean Odyssey" written by the Hong sisters was my intro into Korean talent. This series has great writing and acting. I can see where this show follows the US version but they Clearly have risen above it with more better writing in the character development & cases. You actually care about the people. I am bummed that there is only one season. Kang-Sykes CHO the lead attorney played by Jang Dong-Gun is in "No Tears For The Dead" 2014 a movie written & directed by Jeon-beom Lee and on my list of to watch shoes. Jeon-beom Lee also wrote & directed "The Man From Nowhere" 2010 a great movie. If you like k-shows some greats are " I Saw The Devil", 2010, "Hwayi: A Monster Boy"2013 & currently "Beyond Evil" 2021on Netflix & Viki TV. The best series I have ever seen even Better than Hitchcock.
  • Wow hatsoff to this wonderful series I really loved enjoyed felt satisfied. I give it 10 star rating out of 10 because I really enjoyed watching once again I enjoyed double hero double actress park hyun sik playing naive , kind and simple romantic with the actress playing as manager and the ace lawyer playing as mentor ,guide and coolness smartness with some romance with his secretary. It promotes ego, which is the root cause of all problems. Like if you remember Dona's dialogues "I am Dona and I know everything". People listen to you, follow you, so why promoting such values? And yes, the values shown by Mike Ross of helping people, I found them really impressive. All though I have watched it to improve my English and watching it helped me do that.
